It’s part of the Schlick… they don’t get that corney is still working them. … and yes.. that’s another aspect of corney: he’s all hot air and rage. He’s gotten fired from every job he had and alienated many of his peers along the way lol. This is a guy who worships Hillary Clinton - that’s his genius… lol. I agree with corney on many things, I also see him for what he is: a fast talking carney who has no problems lying at any time, has poor personal judgement, was a mediocre booker at best when he was ever in charge, and a hothead that nobody would actually want to work with long-term lol. Now he also has some good views on wrestling (and insanely extreme biases eg. Hogan is the Antichrist!) and helped train some great future stars. Jim deserves to be with the company. It's good seeing him on here. If you watch Eric's shoot interviews, he conveniently forgets a lot of what happened in the WCW years-and this was the guy who ran the freaking company. Even important events that happened, he claims he can't recall them. Good to see Cornette be a man and address it with him face to face.

DrAngelMachine because he put up terrible ratings numbers during the attitude era. WWF had an amazing run from 1997-1999. There was a small but steady decline in interest after Russo left from late 99-2003. I doubt that happens if Russo was the head writer. It was not the same the in 2000 as it was in 99, 01 as it was in 2000, 02 as it was in 2001 and 03 in comparison to 2002.

William Siders That’s your opinion and I respectfully disagree. The numbers in the WWF/E went down way before Rock went to Hollywood. WCW was a sinking ship waaaaay before Russo arrived. If WCW was doing so good before Russo, they wouldn’t need to hire him away from McMahon. They would have kept Bischoff. You can put McMahon, Russo, Heyman, HHH, any figure head from NJPW and AEW, IMO it would have been near impossible to resurrect WCW in late 1999 when Russo arrived. IMO it’s the easy way out putting the blame on Russo as the reason WCW folded. Hogan’s creative control, the politics, pushes getting started then stopped (thanks to politics) and (most important of all) the AOL-Time Warner merger were the main causes from the death of WCW IMO.
