I thought I was set on TGC but opted for E6 one year subscription and wait if something else comes out. But as far as gameplay E6 is smooth and easy to navigate. I might just stay with after the first year.

I know this is an old video, but I just got Skytrak and e6. Loving the Skytrak - amazing device. E6 is great fun and allows me to play on my iPad (so less investment ). Really enjoying it now and feel it’s worth it. Can’t imagine playing on a iPhone tbh but iPad works great.

Enjoying the videos! How often do you get misreads using the Skytrak outside? Any tips to make the outdoor use better?

I wouldn't say I get many misreads outside. I have used the skytrak indoors occasionally and i get just as many inside as i do outside. As for any outdoors tips, for alignment i just use alignment sticks and I guess for ease it would be nice to have a stand for the iPad/iPhone so i don't have to keep bending down to touch the screen. I have read some people use a cardboard box to shade the skytrak so the sun doesn't shine on it and so you can see the laser dot, but I haven't had any issues with the sun causing misreads 👍🏻

Thanks! Brilliant I bet you cant wait for it to arrive, I was like that waiting for my SkyTrak! I just have an iPad air which can sometimes be a bit slow, so I will often use my iPhone too as its more up to date

i like e6 it just looks too grainy for me tgc 2019 is clear as day e6 also is very colorful and pretty just not as clear and i HaTe that e6 has no depth to there grass !!!! cool video

Good video but some of your info is only valid for certain launch monitors. If you use some of the higher end LM’s E6 does allow for wind, penalties and course elevation. Some of these include Uneekor, TruGolf (TruTrack2 or TruFlight), GSA, etc...Also, handicaps are coming in E6 and it is a setting you have on or off to “Auto align” your putts. Another thing worth mentioning is that although TGC2019 has more courses most of them are not very good...about 90-100 worth playing, similar to E6. Enjoyed the vid...keep it up mate. 👍🏻

there are hundreds if not thousands of good courses on tgc. tgc tour has 2000 they deem quality courses during competitive online tourneys. you definitely need to refer to an online course list though to help weed through the options. just looking up local courses. i found 3 nicely done courses you would never come across in a list or even browsing. im sure there are 1000s like this.

Great point. I play TGC on the PS4 and play some of the organised tours that have a ridiculous amount of amazing courses that have been created.

You can also choose to buy E6 Connect courses. Got this from a Trugolf Sales: Premium and additional courses: The PBR Pack pricing is $700 USD for three courses - Spyglass Hill, Spanish Bay, Pebble Beach resort. Or you can purchase the premium courses individually for $300 USD each: -Pebble Beach Resort -Spyglass Hill -Spanish Bay -Oakmont Non-premium courses are $150 USD This is a one-time cost - these courses do not expire.

What is the laptop spec that you used to run E6 connect on PC? Is it able to run on an integrated graphics card if you lower the resolution?

This video was shot on a very average laptop with the included graphics card. I wouldn’t recommend it, I’d definitely recommend a gaming laptop/PC. But you can run E6 well using an iPad if you want to save some money 👍🏼

I've an outdoor setup for my skytrak. I have WGT & experience constant connectivity problems between my ipad & skytrak. . Are you able to play offline with E6 to avoid similar issues?

I had the same connectivity issues with WGT it drove me insane. With E6 you will probably find that connectivity is not as much of an issue and yes you can download courses for offline use on E6 👍🏼

Yes I am pretty sure you can download a course to play offline on an iPad

I like E6 a lot. You know what I mean? E6 is cool, easy to follow, and fun. So, I like it. It keeps me busy playing different golf courses. I play it so much my eyes get blurry after a while. E6 in my opinion is good. My friends come over sometimes to play and there is no way you can cheat. You know what I mean? My projector is high-end that plays the graphics really really nice. So the bottom line is that E6 is worth the money. I enjoy it a lot and play sometimes for 6 - 8 hours three times a week. Therefore, I am getting my money's worth. You know what I mean?

Yes you will be able to but will have to use Apple’s Boot Camp to partition your hard drive and run Windows.

i disagree tgc 2019 interface is way easier to use then e6 .... e6 i terface and hot keys suck !!! i do like both tho !!!

Think I’m eerring on the side of E6 connect as will be updated regularly rather than tgc19

I’m really not sure - it depends on the latest update your iPad has. It needs to be iOS 13.0 or later I believe

@@hcpgolf Your right I just got an update and it looks like they corrected the backspin problems when hitting on the green. it's much more realistic now.

Can you play a 4 man scramble? Or do 2v2?

Have heard that r10 comes with 5 free courses from e6. Or is it included in the home tee hero subscription

I have an R10. Had it a week and checked my E6 Licence and it looks like its just a Temporary Licence for 15 Days. So I won;t get the chance to try it

@@hcpgolf graphics are virtually the same. only slightly polished really. gameplay on 2019 a bit better though. tee options, the ball tends to stick a bit better on the greens.

Chipping putting is boring on e6. I prefer foresight and tgc

Can I download E6 on my Pc before the skytrak shows up?

I just bought Skytrak .. am I right in thinking that E6 connect basic package will cost me around 300 to 400 pounds per year ...

I got WGT to give it a go on the Skytrak. Have to say it's an awful pile of shit. Thinking of trying E6.

I have always found my driver readings to be pretty spot on. I think it used to be a bit off for people with higher swing speeds, but I read that a recent SkyTrak software update has fixed that. I dont swing very fast so I cant say for sure though 😂

@@hcpgolf oh didn't realise there was a new update out. I must try that. My 4iron goes as far as my driver at the moment. Swing speed would be high enough.

i dislike e6. its better than it used to be. but. the courses tend to play flat. look flat. nature of the older style graphics. putting is boring. auto align boring. if you dont use auto align it seems to go opposite direction of the green grid at times????? also no idea what the green slope is until you are putting. annoying. uneekor and foresight do this great. the graphics on the tgc make this easier as well. penalty in rough is worthless. most people have to keep it off on e6 making every course one big field. as old and mature as e6 is, they get so many things wrong. played in indoor leagues for years on several different software choices. e6 was easily the most boring.

Interesting information that definitely worth a read for everyone looking at potentially purchasing this software! There are definitely a few fundamental things that E6 is missing out on. I mention briefly about the measurements to the hole given in feet even when off the green, but yes knowing the slope of the green on approach shots too is massive! Some great points there.

not helpfull ; Didn't see chips , putts , drives . Still no idea how good the software is . Poor review
