I've been using Awesome Golf for a long time and I agree with everything you said, especially the need for more courses. Love the program, just need more variety on the simulator part.

For someone like me who is limited to outdoor backyard use only, awesome golf is a great option for me. I just use my iPad and I’m set. I pretty much mostly use the driving range to work on my swing, don’t play a whole lot of virtual golf anyway.

Really liked your video, I am thinking about getting a launch monitor and the two of the monitors I am really deciding between are the Rapsodo MLM 2 Pro and the Garman R10. I have used a monitor a few times with golf instructors but haven't tried a golf simulator. I was planning on using the monitor on the golf range and possibly to hit into a net in my backyard. Do you think it would still be fun to use Awesome or another simulator without having an impact screen and projector. I don’t really have a good place to set that up in my house. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am 17.8 index and hoping to improve.

How did you set up the projector? If I use screen mirroring, I get a postage stamp sizes display.

what putting mat do you have in your sim area

I think I'll stick with Home Tee Hero, since it looks like roughly the same user experience and graphics for $10 per month included with the R10. These sim software prices and subscription fees seem so insanely high considering what low poly, ps1 quality content you're getting.

As far as putting, I'm fine that it doesn't make you do it, but I do wish there were multiple circles. A 2-putt from 80 feet isn't a very fair gimme.

What is Illinois or Chicago golf ?

How do you think the accuracy of the chipping is? My son and I were playing the demo for a few days. We went out to play chip and put with the whole family. My son an I were the only two that were chipping way too far. It was like our judgement was way off.

I do think its an indoor sim adjustment. The screen being 8-10 feet away can throw off your depth perception on shorter shots since the image of "where you're standing" isn't lining up with your mind seeing that same spot a distance away from you.

Hey guys. If using say Garmin r10? Is this run on an ipad? How did you guys project to screen. We have projector, but not sure how to cast this to screen

Can be run on Ipad. I use it that way. Plug in Ipad to project with an Apple Converter and HDMI Cord or Mirror if your projector has that capability.

guys, is there anyway to not have a practice shot after every damn shot?? It is so frustrating

Does Awesome Golf work at the range if there is no WiFi? I use my MLM 2 Pro at the range, but with only a cellular signal (on an Android phone). I thought I heard Awesome needs WiFi...

It requires Internet access. LTE or 5G works fine.

How much is it?

I don't understand the need for this. Don't the devices themselves come with similar software? If I buy this do I still have to buy the subscriptions that come with the Rapsodo or the Garmin?

I need this to have it show on the projector thru my pc. E6 connect is 2.5k golf club 2019 is 1k. This is 15 a month🤷‍♂️ no-brainer to me. Also don't have to have the garmin sub to use w awesome app

The skills challenging and club distances aren’t in carry distances!? Why is that so hard for gspro and awesome golf to understand. This app is money if they make carry distances an option when playing skills challenge and club distances. It’s useless to me unless it’s in carry distance

Does Awesome Golf make a simulator? I thought they were a software company. This is confusing.

The "simulator" is the game that awesome golf offers. Yes it is a software program golf simulator. that Awesome golf created.

Pricing is really weird. of course paying in full is better.
