I like the looks of the Awesome Golf app. The distances seem to be slightly more off than the Rhapsodo app but the other metrics seem pretty spot on between the two apps.

At 1.59 it shows a screen with 5 metrics down each side of the screen. What mode are you in to get this as all i can get is 8 metrics on the practice mode if i have my tablet on landscape.. Great video btw. Also how much does the awesome golf cost? Thanks lee

This is what I was curious about.. I don't want to pay $200 per year but want a launch monitor that can read spin axis accurately. Being a plus handicap that just wants to dial things in, I really don't care about graphics, playing courses, etc...I just want detail data w/o a damn yearly subscription.

I would steer clear of the MLM2Pro until they resolve some of their software issues. At the moment, they are working through some patches as connectivity has been a major issue. For a lot of users, disconnects occur within 1 hole on Awesome Coach.

I think they are both amazing units. Indoor the R10 can be spotty, especially with driver, and using the Garmin app. However, if you do a couple tweaks and use Awesome Golf it is spot on. The Rapsodo has only has been out for a month but there have been some issues that people have found and are be resolved with a ton of update patches. The R10 on the other hand feels like it hasn't been updated in forever. I think if you can get a Rapsodo right now I would buy it because it pretty amazing unit, with a bunch of future potential. However, I think like if you want something right now and don't want to wait for updates and patches go with the R10.

Does E6 actually work with the MLM2PRO? I don't think they have finalised that pairing yet, although it is in the cards and imminent.

Seriously though, it is so much cheaper. Just get a net in the yard and you are good to go

if you're going to be using it for simulation, get this. If you're not using simulation, get the voice caddie sc4. That's pretty much what I've learned today.

Pretty sure the Voice Caddie doesn't have slow motion club impact replay. Not only that it seems based on everything I've watched the MLM is far more accurate. For basically the same price as well.

it says my trial period has ended. Do we only get awesome golf for 14 days with the mlm2pro. I was haviong so many issues with the connection i was never even able to try it successfully! :(

Question, anyone else for whom the battery takes like ages to load?? I mean from 62% to 79% it was plugged in for 6hrs or so?!

I can’t get a single shot recorded on awesome golf outside at the range. Any help there??

No with the MLM2 pro

W/O the Rapsodo premium membership you lose important features, including spin. The Awesome Golf subscription costs $14.99/month. Sorry, committing to $380 PER YEAR in recurring fees, after I spent $700 for the device, is difficult to justify.

If you're using a phone you'll only get 3 metrics showing on the screen.

The Rapsodo app is REALLY bad. I think Awesome Golf might save me

Rapsodo tech support team is a joke. They will ignore you and the many many problems with the product. I strongly advise anyone not to buy Rapsodo!

Rapsodo's premium membership is no longer free for the 1st year (Dec 2023). You get a 1 week free trial. I don't know if this is just an app problem or a plan by Rapsodo to no longer give you a free year for the premium membership.
