Interesting take. But in any case with Lorenzo it could have continued while Ducati say Lorenzo should have waited till Assen while Lorenzo point of view is that Ducati didn't had the trust. With Marc, I don't think will be the case as he already got adjusted to Ducati now so I don't think it will backfire. Only way I could see is that by going behind Marc they will loose Pecco in 2026 and once again will prove they are very bad at riders management which Casey also mentioned.

I 100% agree with Jack. The time is now to get Joe to MotoGP if they want the American fan club. He's got the grit and the want, ya gotta send him for a PR purpose if nothing else. Motorcycle racing in America is so small, that it could boost interest back in bike racing. I don't know the racing scene in England, but a British rider couldn't hurt. Fans of these two countries are sick of seeing all the good opportunities going to Spanish or Italians. They are so big cause the best class is full of riders to pick from.

Japanese engineering has been over rated for years. they hire the best alien riders to make up for inferior bikes . Ducati is getting tired of having best tech/ engineering only to have dorna ban ducatis superior tech/engineering because the japanese cannot be competitive . Look at the hondas record ... without marquez the honda has been a back marker for the last decade . These new rules are just because of japanese inferiority . With these new rules briggs and stratton can make a competitive bike .. Japanese never deserved concesions , and thE JAPANESE budget is DOUBLE that of the euro teams . ... LET THE MANUFACTURE WITH THE BEST/STRONGEST ENGINEERING/TECH WIN NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE FROM .

Era of dominance over after watching pecco destroy the field the past 5 race (6 almost if it weren't for the sprint blunder in spain) don't think so. 2026 though with the reg changes always gives an opportunity for one brand to get it right and the rest to get it wrong. Question is though, is an older Mm worth both Enea and Martin? I mean Digi was a match for Mm this weekend on the GP23 too. I can see Mm excelling in flag to flag or wet races for sure, but overall he isn't going to have it all his own way, there is some seriously fast riders who'll be pushing him hard and even the greats as we saw with Rossi, all slow down, not to forget the looming threat that is Acosta who's probably duc's biggest future headache if ktm can put a bike together, should be fun

I see the problem with teams like Ducati making the rules. They come up with ride height devices, holeshot etc and everyone just goes along with it and they try to play catch up. There should be consultation for fundamental changes to the design of a motorbike, as all the bikes need to be re engineered and made unnecessarily complex. Well done Yamaha for partnering up with Pramac.

Are Yamaha making advances because they have limited how many engine platforms they are making rather than making lots of engines for each bike they make one 700cc engine, one 900cc engine, one 1000cc engine rather than a specific one for each type of bike. This must free up development and manufacturing space in the factory.

The 2024 Ducati is now dialled in & smoking the other manufacturers .The 2025 KTM,Aprilia ,Yamaha bike may at best be competitive with the 2024 Ducati next year but i expect the 2025 Ducati to remain dominant with Marc/Pecco onboard. The spreading of rider talent & Pramac Yamaha running latest spec bikes in 2025 makes sense.Hopefully Aprilia/ Trackhouse do the same next year. These steps can only help to reduce the gap to Ducati but wont be enough to challenge their dominance.until 2026 at the earliest & 2027 everyone resets . 2O27 season - all teams on 2027 bikes obviously - only latest spec format is the way forward post 2027 in my opinion. & id like to see Gresini as the satellite team for the incoming ( not confirmed but looks likely)BMW Moto GP team which will level the grid to 4bikes per manufacturer as it should be. Liberty Media have hit the jackpot !!!

Marquez will win races, but he is done with titles. With Jorge going to Aprilia and Basta to KTM I expect it to be the Pecco & Pedro show for most of next season. Yup Pedro had a bad Assen, but he has never really gone well there. This week at the Sachsenring I think Pedro will have a much better ride. I think instead of this silly tire pressure rule, they set the minimum - and everybody starts at that minimum or higher. Put Nitrogen in the tires and you will not have pressure changes. The main reason for running low is so that at the end of the race as the tire degrades the lower pressure aids grip.
