Hello from Gatlinburg!

I live in TN so we go to Dollywood often. Go during the fall or Christmas time it’s beautiful.

Dollywood is my home park and I go every chance I get, so fortunate to live so close to it. It’s amazing

@@amysmith3247 season passes are worth it if you plan to go more than once in a year. 3 visits and it’s basically paid off.

Dollywood, my childhood. Went a few years ago with one of my frat brothers and had an awesome time. Get FastPass, BT-DUBS!!!

After visiting both parks in the last year, it’s not even a question in my mind which park is the best. I’m a big Disney fan but Dollywood is much better park. This is a great family-friendly park with great rides, good food and nice people who go out of there way to make you feel welcome.

Went in 2021 for Christmas, and in 2022. Going back in a week or so 10/10-10/13 for last rides on Lightning Rod before they replace the launch. IMO, park earns the reputation it has here. Rides are top tier, view is top tier, prices are very reasonable, and the staff are all awesome. It has room to grow, but what it does, it does spectacularly well

I love Dollywood I've been there a few times and nothing beats Dollywood 😊❤

You have to go see the hayfield and McCoy show in pigeon forge it’s amazing

I'm so glad you got some cinnamon bread!! It's the best! Come back at Christmas time and enjoy some shows and the lights, but fyi it will be more crowded!

Dollywood is not as busy as DW and it is even better! Love it!

Not better for pregnant moms, babies and toddlers, people with health and mobility issues, etc. I have severe motion sickness and no one but DIsney has any rides I can do :(

⁠@@lacee7494I have mobility issues and I do just fine at Dollywood. Unlike Disney I don’t have to wade through thousands of creepy obsessed adults pushing, shoving and running around! Anyone who says differently isn’t truly handicapped or is completely ignorant or blinded by the tier Disney obsession! There’s a good reason why Dollywood was pretty recently named the best park in the world, beating Disney!

You should really come back around Christmas time for all the light shows and holidays feels. Me and my family LOVE cruising and the beach as well but NOTHING beats a Tennessee Christmas❤

Fall and Christmas are the best!! Dollywood is 90 min drive for us. So much fun here close by. Glad y’all enjoyed it!!

My parents have a vacation home down there and I grew up going to Dollywood almost every weekend! So much fun. you should have stayed for the drone show at night! Disney doesn't even have a drone show!!!

It's one of the most beautiful parks I've ever been to! They have everything covered!! My fav!

I am so glad you went to Dollywood and got some of the cinnamon bread. I have never been to Dollywood, but would love to go. I live close to Charlotte, NC so it is so close to the Gatlinburg area. I am so blessed to live 4 hours from the beach and 2 hours to the mountains. Yes, the mountains are amazing. If you like to hike there are so many places to hike. If I was younger, I would love to do a day hike of the Appalachian Trail. There are so many waterfalls in the mountains and beautiful streams. The Smokies are really amazing, especially when the leaves turn. The Blue Ridge Parkway is nice too. Yall need to come back and stay longer. Boone, NC - Banner Elk area is nice too. Dollywood is so different from Disney. Dolly has really made the park very special.

I love Dollywood!!!! Great Rollercoaster and it's truly a family friendly place. I love that it's getting the attention it deserves. Last time we went, I was 6 months pregnant so we just stayed at the dream more resort. And you know what, that was amazing too! Hope yall have a great day!

That's how it is at Cedar Point Sandusky OH. You wait up to an hour for a 60 second ride LOL!!!!

I first went to Dollywood when we lived in AL in 1999. I live in AZ now and have gone back to Dollywood 4 times. It's my favorite and I like the atmosphere of good clean fun!

Oddly enough today another family member and I were discussing moving to Tennessee. She and her mom had been there on vacation a couple weeks ago and they loved it there. I remember being there some years ago and really liking it as well.

You guy's make the BEST travel videos! Soooo Fun !!! Now we have to plan a trip to Tennessee next :)

I agree about the Mystery Mine. It used to be my favorite, but apparently I grew, or shrunk, and the last time I rode it I got all beat up. But Dollywood is a fantastic park, and only 30 minutes away. ☺️ The fall and winter celebrations are especially beautiful.

We visited Dollywood last week and it was great. The cinnamon bread was also goood.

It is unique in the very best ways.

Love Dollywood! I went last year around the same time and everything about the park was great. We also did their tasting pass which is where you paid $35 and got to try 5 different foods or drinks.

Next time y’all visit Pigeon Forge, get a meal at the Apple Barn. Great homemade food and they produce all kinds of apple related items and their own line of wines, great stuff!

Dollywood was named the best park in the wold last year by Golden Ticket, it’s much more than just some regional park.

I’m so happy y’all made it to Dollywood! So much fun and lots to eat and ride. Dolly is truly an amazing person and that park is always a great time!! I can’t wait to go in September.

You had my mouth watering when you were eating the cinnamon bread!

That is a family favorite of ours. It's only about 4 hours and we can do it as a day trip. Just a great place to come to. When I was teaching we used to bring our honor society and student government kids there. Great fun.

It's a voyages of all time to go on to the Voyage someday to DOLLYWOOD

The thunderhead coaster was designed by my friends father. He designed many of the rides at Dollywood. I stayed with them when I went to Tennessee 😊

@@stephenboshears4832 no. I don’t remember his name. I went to visit my friend in 2008. And I know he worked on the design of many of the attractions at Dollywood.

QUESTION 2: Is the Thunderhead a rough rough ride?

We went to Dollywood back in 1994. On our wedding vacation. It's a lot different back then till now. I want to go back again. 😊❤

I was hoping you'd make it to Dollywood. Never been and wanted to see it thru your eyes. It did not disappoint! Also, the vlog with the river tubing, the filming on the Rollercoaster, was fantastic !

I really enjoyed watching your adventure at Dollywood! I had never even once considered going there (we have been Disney fans, and I always figured Dollywood was more like a Kings Island/Six Flags), but you two should get paid as ambassadors - I'm off to research Dollywood! LOL Thanks for sharing your day - and the reviews of the rides will be so helpful for when we do finally get there!

You should visit!Its a beautiful park,grounds are immaculate and super clean,they have different shows,birds of prey sanctuary,train is super fun,and if you come during certain celebrations they really put on the show

Kings Island is my home park (25-30 mins away) and I also have a pass to Dollywood (5 hours away) if that says anything! ❤ It's beautiful!

I love Dollywood! You definitely need to go back for Smoky Mountain Christmas. Lightning Rod is one of my favorite coasters. It’s intense but so much fun. I also recommend hitting some of the shows in the park they are really good.

Selling Headache Meds after you disembark of a roller coaster which shakes you about (""...because they know..."") is SOME UNDER-HANDED DEVIOUS BIG BRAIN shznizzle! 🤔🤔🤯😆😁

We got gold passes on our Second visit this year. Visit #4 coming soon. Rain is your friend. We were first “across the rope” that day. Amazing park!

Glad you were able to experience Dollywood! We are also content creators and I LOVE the way you put your videos together. I see why you have so many subscribers. Y'all were fortunate to have only 30 minute waits at the most on the coasters. Not sure how much of a wait you had for the cinnamon bread but it's normally a very long line. Glad you were able to experience Tennessee, it' one of our favorite destinations.

There’s a good reason why Dollywood was named the best park in the world by Golden Ticket. Also don’t forget to make time for Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg too! You could easily spend a month in the area and not see and do everything!

Glad you got to see Dollywood, we hope to check it out once we move and get settled in TN! We are planning to move there by the end of next year!! 😁❤️

A favorite place! Have been to the smoky mountains twice since Covid happened! I want to go in the fall! It’s on my list of places to retire too! Have 4 seasons too! Love the mountains!

That ride was a one and done for me!!

Come to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. Rated #1 theme park .....especially for Christmas. Dollywood used to be owned by SDC. Silver Dollar City is in the Ozark Mountains...and it really is gorgeous here.

As you were walking in I was getting total seaworld vibes with the buildings

We used to be season pass holders when our children were younger. They're grown now 🙁 Great area for family vacations.

Lightning Rod is hands down the best coaster in the park. Unfortunately y’all missed it and it’s easy to do because it’s tucked away in the front of the park in the 1950’s section called jukebox junction.

OMG Alysa you are a passionate foody just like me, so refreshing to hear your love of yummy goodies! Love those old school rides for sure, some great memories. Alysa you cheeks were so red from the heat, hope you got to chill in the pool back at the RV park. Did you guys know that Dollywood hires fulltime RVers as workampers? Dollywood has its own medical facilities for its employees and the pricing is very reasonable. Dolly knows how to run a business for sure....free ice cold water....that would run you at least $5 at Disney or Universal! Another home run video!

When you said you going to go back to the RV, I wondered if you were going to get the cinnamon bread. I’m so glad you tried it. It is the best!
