@@That1mandalorian try jonak toys or thicky bricky, and SW fanatics. they have all the things you need, decals, supplies, and blank figs. You can also just buy white bodies from bricklink and use an eraser to get rid of the printing. And what do you mean by cheaper side?? decaling is cheap, how do you want cheaper like $1? it just takes times to do

Man, whoever suggested to put this in a playlist is a god bro, this is so helpful, only when I saw 442nd decals I needed to know how to do it? This is the start of my journey :)

The Jonak toy’s recreation are a good place to start. I accidentally cut my first decal with the black lines so my figure looked rather weird. I would suggest trying AV figures after you get the hang of decals

The figures ARE insane and the 2020 style works really well and would look sick if you compared them to the new lego 501 and if you made a lot of them

I’m gonna start decaling as well, I ordered from jonak toys and thiccybrickie, I got sealant and I got tons of blank clones. Mainly I got 2020 style clones such as the 13th battalion in the video, also got 442nd siege troopers in the 2020 style, three each. Three each of their realistic counterparts as well. I won’t be starting with the 13th and 442nd, but however I’m going to start with the grey 41st elite trooper in the 2020 style, then 41st Assault in the 2020 style and realistic style 212th with no battle damage as my first decaled clones.

Well, I guess I would rather go with painting instead of decaling, because I am familiar with it (playing about 15 years Warhammer Fantasy) and you are more flexible. But in case you will build up an entire army consiting of several generous figure, decals should be better and way faster. My first project is going to be a Captain Vaughn with a modified Visor, a two-coloured jet pack and maybe some radio antennas on the helmet. But first I have to collect the parts, what is pretty tricky without credit card, if you have to buy in foreign countries.

You know the lego sets that have stickers that you put on lego pieces, that is basically decals but for lego pieces and not figures

Hey, I want to start making custom clones with decales but I don't find a blank arf helmet does someone know where I can find some?

At first i thought it would be a sticker you just put on the clone trooper but you have to use it like one of those kid tatoos and dip it in water and leave it to set on the figure

With the 2020 for me the helmets are easy but the legs are the hardest.

From that website the torso and legs are official Lego and you can get proper helmets with the printing wiped off, you can also get “knock off” blanc helmets but they’re good quality on par with clone army customs plastic
