The guys who make the men’s KZread space seem so kind and generous. John, Antonio, Aaron M, OG Jeff, these guys are all so supportive of each other. Great to see James grow and develop along with these gentlemen, working together to exemplify a standard for all men.

27:58 - "What do I do if I'm bald?" Well, as a bald guy, I can answer that for you. Accept it. Shave it. All of it. Preferably once a week to keep it consistent. There are electrical shavers specificly designed for shaving your head, you don't need to use a razor. A neat shaven bald head is A LOT BETTER than having three strands on the top of your head, bushy sides and living in denial. If you have facial hair, try growing a neat short beard, if not a clean shave goes a long way.

All of your collaborations have been good: Antonio,Raphael,Ash. All-Star team. But this was your best one by far. Laughed out loud several times while listening, and nodded while smiling on several more. Deliberately listened in shorter clips, because I was enjoying the conversation so much,I didn't want it to end. You and John have a natural chemistry, and bring out the best in each other. John has a "California Cool" that reminds me of Jeff Bridges. Not an East Coast,Midwest,or Southern style, but its own unique vibe. Thanks James! Truly a great show.

How exciting, I would never have guessed. I don't watch John Galfano (40 Over Fashion) much, since he targets an older demographic, obviously, but a lot of his advice is applicable to anyone. Look stylish, don't wear shorts below the knees because it throws off your proportions and anyway a lot of women these days actually like it when men show a little skin, just dress like you care a little and don't want to look like someone who chases trends as if trendy equaled good. Dress like an adult. He definitely practices what he preaches: he always looks sharp and knows what pieces and colors work for him, and he's always warm whenever I see him doing a crossover with, say, The Kavalier or Gent's Lounge. I like that he switches it up a lot, finding a lot of different topics to cover, some of which are barely styled related at all. It'll be interesting to hear more about him! He has great presence and he always seems lovely. So far, good interview! PS haha, small wonder he gets asked for hair advice. Truly, some of the best hair and beard on KZread. Also, love the straight-talk about a decent physique looking better.

Dating for a man is definitely easier in your 50s. Here in Las Vegas, it seems like around age 25 or 26, women are tired of young guys who don't treat them respectfully. As a somewhat refined and financially stable 50- something, it's pretty easy pickings.

at 33:40 about men do they or don't they care about their appearance, I think men do care but many don't know specifics on what they should do to create a better appearance. Rather than general advice, some specifics of what to do and what not to do. For myself I've been fortunate to stay in shape with ballroom dancing as a hobby and much of my fashion is fairly generic. I also tend to avoid highly processed foods even though convenient. I find myself doing multiple trips to grocery stores buying ready-made salads or vegetable combos from a bag where I simply cut and dump into a steamer.

I’m 24 and I feel like I have no place in the dating world. I make 6 figures, dress very well, am a funny (known by most as the funniest person they know) guy, personable, charming. Not a humble brag cuz the punchline is that I haven’t been on a date in over 2 years (when I broke up with my first love). I go up to girls quite often. Usually get a number. Never more than a response or two, and never a date. Women older than myself show more interest but the age gap is too great to overcome. Women any younger than me very quickly drop off into looking like children in my eyes and they have personalities to match. I’m stuck in the middle, and the people my age, especially the women, are so busy with school and career and moving out of state that no one seems to even be trying to date. It gets lonely

Re: older guys caring and not caring. As a 69 year old guy who still does care, as I've aged I notice those who have the "I don't GAF what people think of me or how I look" do in fact care, a lot. It's just that at some point they failed to meet whatever standard it is they were after, lots of rejection and career shortfalls if not failure, etc., and now they have just given up. How many times have you seen someone at 30 - 40 - 50 - 60 - whatever and thought: At what age did this guy stop caring? Life has beaten these people down. The more so, the more bitter and angry they are until they hopefully age out of it.

Fellas in their 50s, who have full lives, who are not obsessed with getting women to pay attention to them, don’t date! They talk to women who are interested in them, and develop the situation rapidly. When you know, you know. Dudes with solid heads on their shoulders, can easily inspire a woman to kiss them the first time they meet. If the goal is to sleep with a woman, a man will close on the spot with confidence. 75% of the time, it works every time 😊
