    As a Chadian, I really appreciate your representation of the country. Its global reputation isn't the best, and it doesn't help that media seems committed to a negative portrayal. Chad is unbelievably friendly and all it takes is a mutual respect of the local culture. This was a great watch, and I hope you revisit sometime :)

    That's normal for international Media, because "Safety" is a big Topic in Europe & North America. Here in Germany, we dont hear much about the Situation in African Countries, very rarely. Of Course at the Moment we learn about the arrival of Refugees in Europe, coming over the Sea. But except that, TV Media is more focused on Europe & USA. I have never been to Africa, so i cant really tell what it's like. Every Country is unique in it's way so i guess People will make Good & Bad expieriences no matter where they are.

    I have bumped into many European KZreadrs. Unfortunately, most of them focus on reporting the negative aspects of Africa. I want to thank you for your balanced reporting and, most importantly; you portray Chad very positively. I have also noticed your love and respect for the places and people you visit and For that, i must APPRECIATE AND CELEBRATE YOU IN A BIG WAY. Welcome to Kisumu - Kenya one of these days sir. One thing to add is a lot has changed over there since Drew's visit. With tiktok nowadays, no one worries about a camera. Thanks for showing it, but a lot needs to be done to develop the tourism sector. There are a lot of areas outside Ndjamena to be seen.

Was about to comment about Drew's experience very different than yours, but there is no need as I see many other ppl already did😁. Hope he could've given this country another change before making his negative video. The Western world already has the whole African continent as the worst. We need to see more positive. Reson why I do my own research away from what I grew up seeing on tv. I'm glad to see videos like this one. 💕👌👏🏽🔥💯

    Despite being one of the most extreme countries in Africa, I can see Chad is improving, and it's okay to visit. Chad will hopefully change in the future, and I do believe the locals are very hospitable.

    Every country is extremely safe, when you have an organized tour through locals and you spend your time doing playstation at people's house or visiting some old pottery house in the middle of the desert. You can argue that Drew Binsky was a bit categorical but I feel he had a more genuine and authentic expenrience ,he didn't plan much ahead he just improvised to have a good feel for the country.

    that's the thing, you gotta research before you go anywhere if you wanna have a good time, also I think Drew might've went at a bad time since in this video there is no problem with filming ppl

  • @Luhanzi

    @Luhanzi

    You see that's part of why he didn't have a good experience. He didn't research nor did he have the right connections. A lot of his troubles were easily preventable and a product of his own decision making. I would argue Gus' experience is far more genuine and reflective of my country, but I won't fully negate what Drew experienced. Bottom line is to be be mindful of your environment and understand the culture you are subjecting yourself to. Chad has a lot to offer socially and geographically if you look :)
