@@bclislife I think Celine was still in her prime when Mariah and Whitney already weren't so for me that's points for longevity and consistency. Relative to the other two, I think no area of Celine's voice was underdeveloped even if she may not be the best in all areas (for example, Mariah's head voice and Whitney's lows).

Truly tho, the differences in skill among these queens are miniscule and not really that dramatic. But it's quite obvious to me that Celine seems to be the most balanced.

Imo I think she is, she is a great belter, great head voice, great lows, great agility. The only thing people hate on her about is her consistency on upper belts, which she still has relatively great upper belts just not as consistent and as she aged got heady, but it helped her sustain her voice sooo. And if we’re being brutally honest none of the vocal trinity were super consistent upper belters, Mariah was only consistent for maybe a 2 year period and still had some strained belts and same for Whitney. But who cares? They’re all phenomenal ❤️❤️.

I agree.

As a huge fan of Celine I started smiling when it got to agility, Men . No one can compete with the master of runs and vocal effects. Y'all be talking about her being nasal, I think it's a great technique to prevent strain as you go higher, it's something singers should have at their detriment. I'm just like WOW 😲 The woman is good she deserves some accolades 👏👏👏👏👏

​@@lightning0506 The vibrato was just fine. It doesn't have to be the same every time she sings. In fact, vibrato is supposed to be natural and should ideally be a bit different depending on Celine's vocal health in different performances.

let's say celine dion's voice will have 17 points lara fabian 16.25 .. I still find that celine dion's extreme agility in her head voice is not rated enough! I think it would take + 1 for agility .. lara fabian is almost at the level of celine that is........agility is noted later, so its gonna camdem a great job here!

She's definitely an amazing and legendary vocalist. Love the Queen of Adult Contemporary Ms. Celine Dion! Her voice is powerful, agile, beautiful, and unique! She has a distinct and instantly recognizable voice! Her She's a well rounded and consistent vocalist. Her lows are well developed, her belts are well developed, her mixed voice is well developed, and her head voice is well developed too. I hate when people say she strains above Eb5. She has tension issues up there at times, but I never heard her full on strain.

yes exactly ... agree . if we talk about lara fabian on the same file is the best?? you looked at his D5 (argentina) . it is classified on note gold... whereas if one listens well, the note is tense!! I hear a tension on her voice, because she loses her core on d5 if she stays too much on her chest unlike Celine Dion who with her mask keeps this sound open and very comfortable on d5 ..... we will to say there are small inconsistencies on certain notes .. but good work from mr camdem

Yes I agree!!! Celine Dion has a very iconic powerful voice that when she's on climax high notes it's like her voice already have surpassed the earth atmosphere ❤

When it comes to Celine, there is not need to dissect or pick apart notes. You view the performance as a whole. No one can deny the majesty of her voice, and add the fact that whenever she sings she does as though her life depends on it. A highly respectable artist and vocalist.

Nasality can be an issue in a more classical setting , but perfectly fine with contemporary. It all comes down to taste.

The rasp in her upper belts actually is intentional as a stylistic choice! This is proven in a couple of performances of “all by myself” where she starts the F5 with her signature rasp and then flips into a lighter, smooth and better supported F5- all in one breath.

I think whistle should not be counted as a point when doing a vocal analysis. It is a special thing that people can have or control, like a unique trick. For Mariah - whistle, for Celine - it's nasal control, for Whitney - Master using pop headvoice

Celine's entire head voice range being labeled as "inconsistently ringing" when essentially every note she has sung in the E5-B5 range in her head voice for most of her career carries a resonant ring to it is, frankly, insulting to her. Her head voice being smaller or lighter due to her natural vocal type doesn't stop this from being a reality.

@@peterteddy2370 Valsalva maneuver is a real term. That's not a made up term. The valsalva maneuver is a constrictive and pushy way of singing. You can use the valsalva maneuver and still project a Bb5. It's funny how you point out people being shady and I've seen you do it many times.

A great, fair and objective analisys of Celine's Voice!!! The fact that is more impressive is that Celine take 125 points of score with one register less the whistle register!!! Which means that if we take out this register and make a comparison with Mori and Lara at the moment Celine would be the winner with 125 points then Mori with 121.1 points and finally Lara with 110.75!!! I just wanted to leave a very quick comment you posted this 2 years ago and how relevant it is even today and as a vocalist given my choices in life and unfortunate events people expect someone is greatest Celine Dion to sing songs exactly the same as she did when she was 21 The voice changes our vocal cords get tired some of us develop nodules My range isn't as good my ability to breathe and control my breathing as a report I've lost everything and it can happen sorry for my typing errors so to those criticising her for not sounding the same or lip syncing a song that she recorded in 1985. When you become a perfectionist if you've watched the latest documentary I am Celine Dion who worst singing is sometimes not even people's best do you know what I mean but she can recognise that straight away because she knows who instruments so well I don't care if I went to a Celine Dion concert and she sang One song live in lip sync the rest and I agree as a performer it is a performance matters more than the song. It's what you make the audience feel if you can make them cry laugh get up and dance those are the things to me that are important.and my opinion just personally my opinion female vocalist tend to have more ability with vocal gymnastics and agility and some are crazy vocalisations. The audio for this I must imagine must have been hard to try and equalise but she's a human being and when she went to Caesars palace you cannot expect her to sing six nights a week or whatever it was and every single nightand so of course sometimes the backing track superseded to natural vocal sometimes we get sick we can't sing sometimes who nasal was too nasally so that adjust and like her mother told her and taught her just continue like nothing's wrong just go with it you know but like she said in a documentary got to a point where she couldn't lie anymore and of analysed years of her singing and I can almost guarantee you I can pick the live from the lip sync I can pick the heavy backing vocal compared to her prominent vocal it's just what you get you can hear it it's just like when someone says this stereo system is as good as this stereo system no way I can hear the difference between vinyl and CD I can tell you that her French song was pre-recorded and had some work done to it but it was still beautiful what was beautiful seeing her standing on her two feet with this decrypting debilitating neurological disease which is going to get worse it's a progressive so we should really just continue to embrace the work and Empire she's created and who is a human being then expecting to get more apples from her tree they won't be here forever and some of the greats have already passed they were a gift from god and they were taken and the things we did not appreciate them and we hurt them and we abuse them and we criticise them and paparazzi harass them and they were taken from us Whitney Houston did not need to die she almost had her voice back Elvis Presley Michael Jackson and so many other amazing singers unique tones unique voices people always say oh but they chose to be famous they may have wanted to be a superstar but they didn't want to be followed 24/7 harmed or by their fans or stalkers their family and danger arguments over money that's what happened with me when I started to make money I had more friends than I ever did before and it made me feel so alone because I didn't know who was wanting me for money who was wanting me for sex or who wanted to be with me because of my vocal abilities of course I'm using a fake account or not real account because it's just notthe world doesn't understand sadly the everyday Joe will marry don't understand what we go through business-wise emotional way human beings we feel things and then we get things that happen to us that they hold a gangsta's as a threat if you don't go on stage if you don't go on this concert tour we will show this we will tell them this we will do this we will destroy you they are evil people and I got out with my life thank god no money but I got out with my life😊 I have dyslexia so I do apologise

There is nothing as "compulsory register". They all choose to sing in certain registers. The whistle register is an actual register. Whitney and Celine had that register as well. Mariah was the most developed in it. Simple as that.

Dion is a generation where as a foreign language singer, she had to come to USA to prove her worth which she did time and time again but Americans always place her at the bottm when compared to whitney and mariah. dion is kind of like the representation of the world when you think of the vocal trinity, that you dont have to be born in america to considered one of the greatest of all time. Dion has awards, allocates, and achievements around the globe that carey could even dare to wish she had.

Her lows are amazing for someone with a piercing voice. I mean even as a lamb, she got Mariah beat marginally in my opinion. Whitney had the weakest lows of the Vocal Trinity despite having the darkest timbre
