My grandparents moved from NYC to Bogota and brought their 2 kids up there. It was a beautiful sleepy town. Then they moved to Hackensack when i was born in 1947. None of the towns i grew up with are the same. I would never consider them today. I had to move from Jersey in 2001 as i was outpriced in both house price and taxes. Totally ridiculous..

There’s been a lotta boats and there will be plenty more. But yeah that one that left 10 years ago was pretty sweet.
No town is affordable in NJ anymore and even if you can afford it the taxes will eat u up.

"affordable" is very subjective. NJ was never known as being one of the "affordable" states to live. There are plenty of people qualifying for mortgages here
