best time to visit is late may to early june when the rice is ripe and ready to be harvested

Yay... So glad you enjoyed it. ❤️. It was quite a challenging hike what with getting a bit lost at times but well worth it. A beautiful contrast between a natural landscape and a man made one. So interesting to see life being lived there in the traditional ways. 👍. And having a doggy friend as a trail buddy just topped it off. ❤️🐶

Hi Mandy & Lee, It was a long bus ride to get there but well worth it. What a scenery / mountains / rice terraces / waterfall. It's beautiful place but not an easy access as them trails don't seem safe. On wet days it might be quite dangerous.. To Lee, hopefully England will do well on this Euro (as long as they don't play / beat Portugal.. 😉) Chat later, take care folks 🙋🏻‍♂️

Hi Sergio 👋 Yes what a beautiful trail but quite challenging too. I'm glad Mandy didn't attempt it because she would have struggled with the heights. It was a bit dodgy in parts so I just took my time. 🙏 I'm watching the Euros but don't have my hopes too high for England this time. There are far better teams in it. I enjoyed watching Portugal and Spain look really good too. 👍

Great video guys ❤ wow that scenery is just so soothing. Good on you Lee, all those steps, thanks for sharing the waterfall and rice fields close up. I was up that way years ago, stayed in Banaue. I remember the road to get there was a nightmare. I'd forgotten how cheap Philippines is, priceless view from accommodation that cheap?! must be time for another visit. Thank you Lee for climbing up and down those trails to share with us, and balancing along those rice terraces.

That's a good idea, Alexander... or increase the entrance fee and ensure that money is spent on maintaining the rice terraces... unlike so many of the ones in Banaue
