Everyone is welcome. However, Jesus promises to save us from our sins, not in our sins.

The most important thing is what Jesus says - ALL will be given the choice - split or no! The remnant is but a small few so the book would seem to say. Come out and be separate is the cry to be given at the end. Peculiar and straight laced are the remnant. Hated and vilified. Even their own churches will hate them. Everything will be measured by the word of God in the end. As it was in the beginning, so it shall be at the end. "And, behold, I COME QUICKLY; and my reward is with me, to give EVERY MAN according as HIS WORK shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Adventism sees having an openness to diverse expression as a threat to identity...and identity is a super sensitive issue. Is it possible to negotiate what is core, what is the real meat, what is optional, what is negotiable?

@@PullingthePlug I agree! It's so sensitive. And a lot of times we develop our identity on things that shouldn't be at the core or foundation of our beliefs. I do hope we keep moving towards where the Spirit wants us to focus on. Appreciate the comment! 🤙🏼

I used to attend a woke, all inclusive SDA church and it ate itself. It went so far off the deep end on “inclusivity” it had Pride Parties on Sabbath afternoons. It’s community health ministry included Planned Parenthood info for abortion. The entire pastoral team left. No apologies, no “come let us reason”. They skipped town and even the head pastor bragged about his new best life adventure. Split? It already is fractured. Fall? It will appear to but won’t. The answer? Yes, there is an answer: DENY YOURSELF AND FOLLOW ME, not your own feelings of how YOU think it should be.

@gregcox6165 I definitely agree with you that we are called to deny ourselves and follow him. I can't attest to your experience. According to the message to the church of Ephesus (Revelation 2), just because a church exists doesn't mean it stands as a church in God's eyes if they're not founded on his Love. It seems the Holy Spirit was calling out all sides of the spectrum throughout the New Testament. Appreciate you tuning in.

Perhaps we don’t follow man’s idea of the scripture but wait for the Holy Spirit to teach us the ways of Jesus. Remember guys…Pharisees may have had wealth and power but we serve a Living God who owns all. We are His children. Don’t put God in a box of our making.

The birth process originated with Jesus Christ; it was designed by Him! Interfering with it at any point goes against that God given design and terminates a soul for Him. Pro-Choice is Pro-Abortion, it's the only choice being made.

And that may include those Adventists who are very conservatives! So, what will you do when they are in the church? Ask them to leave? Or accept! Isn't your view a bit bias? But can you accept those who are gay and unwilling to change their way of living? I sometimes wonder what Ellen G. White would think of our church the way it is today!

we hope it doesn't get to that, but the reality is we are beyond traditional vs non-traditional. We've entered a season where the differences are so much deeper than that. We pray God brings the healing. In the meantime, we focus on the mission. ❤

You guys are not Adventist. (You) cannot qualify an exemption from standards apart from truth. You both need to take a lesson from the military, uniformity is needed to accomplish the mission. Secondly, the blueprint for church planting is described in the Spirit of Prophecy, standards of dress, standards for music, entertainment and morals; by the way Spider-Man is a lie. Thirdly God is alive, preach the truth and the “lord will bring in those who should be saved.” Two groups will be in the Adventist church until the harvest, at that time the Angels will do the separating.

I still think the subject of the video is being danced around. I don't understand what you are getting at. Are you saying the church is to let down on its principles? There are going to be tons of people who answer the call "Come out of her, My people." Of course, the Spirit will fund the church. Oh, there will be a reaching out by the Lord--see above. Let God do what He will.

I agree that the church should not compromise on its principles. An issue is that some Adventists are equating traditions and out-of-context interpretations with true principles and expect everyone to follow them. This leads to a focus on "uniformity" instead of "unity." At the same time, standing up for biblical principles excludes those who don't agree with them. Appreciate you listening in!

@@marioa23 the unity vs uniformity thing is the same conflict as equity vs equality in the DEI slogan being mooted by those (unelected, unaccountable) organisations urging Western Marxism upon us. equality of opportunity is a very different thing to enforced identical outcomes (and that regardless of context). the story of the childless woman at Sychar (John 4:3-30) would really, really upset some DEI advocates. (hello from 400km SSE of you, where the day is overcast)

Hopefully we can agree at least in the general statement that God is not looking for uniformity but unity amongst his people. @@marioa23 yes, our uncreated creator is looking for unity. the equity versus equality thing parallels word games often played by political figures to coerce the general public to unquestioningly comply with incoherent directives - or in effect, to enforce tyranny. those with Christ in them will want Christ in them, because they know Christ (not merely know of Him or know about Him), and the result will be unity - not necessarily uniformity, as every person is different to every other. when he asked an apparently simple favour of a lowest-of-the-low (in her culture) childless woman at the well in Sychar (John 4), the men in the metropolis literally walked through cultural racial boundaries to meet him and ask questions of him - unity.
