Hi mate - just watching your bmw mod videos as I want to do the same. Did you declare your mods to your insurance…. If so how much did this make it go up by?

are sciroccos expensive to repair or are they average?

have you done anything to your mini or just a new exhaust ?

You can pick one of these up for a pretty good price but the insurance can be a killer so make sure you do a quote before buying

Insurance will be high on either scirocco model, obviously higher on the bigger engines. The 2ltr tsi is the same as the golf GTI, maybe very slightly friendlier.

Tried to get one as a first car, insurance was too high rip

On this occasion it was greasy and I was wheel spinning on the exit of the roundabout which was why it wasn’t turning

Definitely a lot of car for a first timer even in lowest output

Getting this for my first car in 2 weeks. 4.4k insurance🤧

1.4L is a lot cheaper than the 2.0L to insure

There is 2 1.4 variants, I assume his is like mine which is the 122hp model with his age, but I've been driving years, so I needen worry about insurance as much. The next 1. 4 is the 160hp turbo super, so id be surprised if he could get insured on it cheaply. I have owned various cars over the years, so your mate did a good choice with the scirocco for his first one

⁠@@thesilentgametestrmy first car is currently a 2011 1.4 scirocco tsi 160hp and insurance is actually cheaper than the one in the video (not that much cheaper) but still cheaper so his might possibly be a 160hp 1.4
