You can only encounter people one level less, the same level and one level higher so he wont see lvl 14’s

⁠@@Gloom_Shroom_GamingI’m king level 11 and I’m at 6000 trophies with level 11-13 cards and play about 50-50 level 14s to same level it’s not easy but definitely doable.

I love the F2P series. It shows that even though without Whale J, you still can make some decent progress except getting gatelocked which is pretty annoying 😂 Edit: Jeez thx for the 1k likes!!!😮

If not for the level gate, his towers would be extremely underlevelled as well as his vard collection making it harder to switch few cards in his deck

I remember pushing all the way to 5000 Trophies while being F2P, then passing it and entering the old Legendary Arena (it was once Arena 13). I was Crown Level 9. Then, after a few weeks, Legendary Arena got moved to Arena 15, and I ended up in Arena 12, Spooky Town. Then I got pushed all the way to the gate of Arena 12... And quit.

5000 is about where I am as a F2P player. Granted, Supercell did recently lower the level requirements for the arenas, but it’s still quite the slog

What I did when I came back for a bit on a new account since I lost my old one was sit at the gatelock (you actually cant drop down) and just play for the sake of grinding levels and slowly made progress, by the time one of my gatelocks broke I was already halfway through that arena in trophies I had grinded so much.

Lol they recently set all the gate locks past a certain point to king level 24. It’s certainly _possible_ to climb but it feels so hard without levels

I started my account 7 months ago, and just reached Arena 17 today, still being f2p. They lowered the trophy requirements a couple weeks back, so I haven't been gatelocked since (though I was a ton until then)

The 3m deck was litterally the best one winning almost any matchup since there was almost no deck with big spells

I like that when you opened the legendary chest and it was the spinning animation i got an add and right after you got the card xd

I honestly agree with OJ, the gate lock is just stupid, especially for f2p players. The gate lock made me less motivated to push ladder, since what is the point? It is not like I am getting rewards from playing it. Moreover, supercell probably just added the gate lock to get people to spend money on upgrades just to progress to another arena.

This series shows that an amazing player like oj struggles with f2p

yea I had a low lv acc that I only leveled up the main desk that I used, and when I got back on it and I would only get +5 trophies for winning and that just made me quit the game all over again, kinda sad to see that they killed low lv trophies pushing.

i farmed during the gold events and i am lvl 30 in arena 14, just wait for events every season, its the only way to progress

This is pretty true I just got back into the game after a few years and its literally impossible to progress past 6k trophies with my measly level 10 cards no matter the amount of skill

I was f2p for 3 years I feel your pain and I had to give in eventually

ive been playing for 2 years i think the gate locks are intentional so we can use a variety of decks in top ladder

took me 5 Year to get to 6000 but i had like 2 year of break You can get higher but you cant really get maxed cards, only like one deck

Oj you know when you had level 14 meganight you kinda ruined my streak of 12 and i needed one more win to level up and then i went on a loosing streak thank you so much

heres a tip, keep donating cards in clan, and maybe in like 7 months u can get to kt lvl 40
