I remember this feeling from my childhood! You've captured it so perfectly. The "run" on the power button of the remote was a brilliant detail.

awww yesss! thank you, I'm glad it got across :)
The sound effects are so satisfying. I love how this piece really puts you into the perspective of a little kid at night.
GOD this was so so terrifying and good. the brushing teeth scene? i feel that to this DAY. (this reminded me very much of the movie skinamarink, which if you like horror and/or experimental films you should totally check out if you haven’t already seen it)
Before I was on depression meds I was alone for about an hour before my parents got home (~4th grade). I knew logically I was safe, but I would fully convince myself I was in danger. The only way I could feel secure was to stand in a corner holding a knife. At nights I would fall asleep not because I was tired but because I convinced myself some lanky demon would kill me if I opened my eyes. The whole time I knew that I had nothing to worry about and that it was irrational, but knowing you shouldn’t be afraid doesn’t help when you’re brain is screaming about the people just out of sight. Luckily my depression meds made the feeling go away and it only comes back if I miss a whole week.
don't you hate it when you see a demon sitting in your room only to turn the lights on and it's just a towel on a chair
this is incredible, really love the art style and vibes. you deserve wayyyyy more recognition :)

you're welcome lol. and thank you!
Omg this is so awesome you used the sound/ music and the visuals both build on top of each other so well! Totally reminds me of when I used to be scared of the dark as a kid
this really nailed the feeling, for me it never really went away, too much imagination I suppose
I am sure that i am not the only one that remembered how she was afraid of the dark as a kid after seeing this.
I thought it was gonna be about a baby sticking a fork in the outlet or something because of the thumbnail 😭 I still kind of feel the same about dark places. It’s just so intimidating not being able to see things that might be there.
