Thank you for another great video. I hadn't planned on backing this on Kickstarter until I watched the video. When I saw the line about "Heralds" I got excited because I use Druids as the lore keepers and controllers of the Wardens in my Ironsworn campaign. My first thought was "Druids in space!" and I backed the game as soon as your video ended.

Amazing! I am fairly new to pen&paper rpgs but what always turned me off before, was the huge barrier of entry with the amount of rules and mechanics you have to dig through. When I was watching some other video on youtube about solo rpgs it would have multiple hours of rule explanations, World building and character creation. But I was always mostly interested in gameplay and storytelling. That you immediatly start with this part now is a dream come true. Thank you! :-)

I am using Fantasy Grounds as a helpful tool for my solo gaming sessions. I would really like to play without electronic means, but searching and looking up random tables is so much more easy using Fantasy Grounds Unity, that it is a no-brainer. That's also the reason I have put A TON of hours into the tool converting my pdf tables (or sometimes even paper books) into rollable tables in Fantasy Grounds. My current project is to implement all tables and also some automated rules (using the Ruleset Wizard, a 3rd party integrated development environment for Fantasy Grounds) from Ironsworn: Starforged into Fantasy Grounds Unity, as there is currently no finished product available for purchase for Fantasy Grounds. That's when I take matters into my own hands. I have also converted quite a few oracle card decks into Fantasy Grounds, such as Mythic GM Deck, Adventure Crafter Deck, Pocket Lands, Encounters, Adventure Toolbox Cards, ... A neat side effect is, that when I occasionally do play online together with my friends, I have all my offline tools now online at my fingertips.

This looks excellent. Loved the playthrough. Missed out on the KS but hopefully they will put up a late pledge. Love the sci-fi stuff and I never get to bring it to the table with a group which this solves in glorious fashion. Love it. Thanks again for your fantastic video!! Cheers, Ryan

Taking a bit of time before replying. Great video again. I want to mention one part of Ironsworn which is not discussed as often as the Oracle / Prompts / 2D10 challenge. I think the milestone / progress system is brilliant and is a great tool to apply to any other Solo RPGs in general. By keeping things abstract (divided by danger level) while allowing progress to be trackable. It strikes a balance between story creation and repeated dice rollings by allowing players to move on from one scene / situation during the whole Solo RPG session. I would love to see you explore that system in other games (potentially other old school simulationist games) in the future!

Very helpful and informative, thanks. I've yet to actually play Ironsworn but I've heard wonderful things from you and others, interesting to see it applied to science fiction. This might be a way to scratch that itch. (Though my brand new copy of Five Parsecs from Home might have it pre-scratched by the time this is released.) Great work on this as always. As far as the discussion goes, I'm always a fan of the "scene switch." Makes a playthrough feel like a movie.

Hello. I am writing a solo rpg. I am the creator of The Civitas Universe series of games, I have released three so far and done fairly well with them, but I am now writing a SOLO RPG set in space called Solo : Sol and in the front inside cover, I am dedicating the game to you, your channel but most importantly, your wonderful book -- which without it, I would never have begun Solo : Sol, so thank you, just wanted you to know. I have no idea how else to get in touch. I hope you don't mind me reaching out and letting you know about this little game I am dedicating to your and your work. A thousand thank yous. James xox
