This is Dominic with SafeandVaultStore.com, and I'm here to show you today our new vault door by Ironman called the Vulcan. This is an 8036 Vault Door Outswing.
This Vault Door comes in a standard gray powder coat finish. The lock comes standard with a mechanical lock, and you can upgrade to an S&G Digital Lock. It has a tri-spoke handle to make the door easy to open and close, and it comes with this pull handle as well.
This door has a 1/8" solid steel plate in the front and it has 8 locking bolts that lock behind the frame. For those that using this as a vault door as a panic room, there is a safety release on the inside for this handle. So all you have to do to get out of the room is turn this handle to retract the bolts and you're able to get out of the room and open the door.
The inside of the door has this Palusol seal that will expand in the event of a fire and heat. And the inside has a 1" fire drywall material that is equivalent to like a 1-hour fire rating.
The rough opening of this vault door is 81" x 37". So it will fit in that opening. And it bolts directly to a 2 x 4 wall. You can see we have it mounted to a 2 x 4. It just bolts directly from the inside. Or if you have a concrete block wall, you just bolt it using a concrete anchor into the block wall.
In the event someone were to try and cut these hinges off, there is a dead bar on the inside of the door that locks behind the frame, and that prevents someone from just prying the door open or opening the door.
There are a lot of different vault doors on the market but we feel like this is a really great option. It's affordable, it's made in the USA and it has a lot of features that are on our premium vault doors as well.
