How different in tone terms are these new amps from the pedal version? Same voicing, or different please?

Yes, the 100-240V Universal Voltage power supply is included (24V)

This may be a daft question but do you need a cab to use the headphones for silent practice?

No I believe u can directly use headphones without the cabs

Both channels have an independent volume control -there's no real need for a master volume

@@LaneyAmplification I have the pedal version. And I needed to add a JHS Black Box in the loop otherwise some of my effects would be too loud/noisy. My looper pedal couldn't go quiet enough to not be deafening otherwise. That said you needn't worry - I've just ordered a Dualtop for delivery tomorrow!

Are the channels able to be switched with a foot switch? I’m assuming the answer is yes. I know Laney says the boost is for switchable, but what about the channels on the dual?

Parts of the video look like being sped up!
