Pull day let’s do it!
Packed with rows and curls to put load on the back and biceps! Slow, precise and controlled is the objective!
The timer will be on for 60 seconds per exercise with 30 seconds rest inbetween!
The dumbbells I am using for your reference are 1 x 20kg for the back movements then 2 x 8kg for the biceps!

Tweak the movements to suit you in regards to angle of tilt forward in rows to what feels most comfortable for you.
We all will perform movements slightly different and it is important that you are comfortable and not straining in order to be able to lift safely.

    I love that, other than during the introduction, CG doesn’t say a word during the workout. I don’t need a pre-recorded person cheering “me” on. Have always found that annoying and even distracting in other recorded workouts. But when I reach the end of a workout and CG gives the thumbs up sign, I feel affirmed.

    I'm going through a very difficult time of my life right now with financial challenges and career transitions. And I have to say, these workouts feel like the one thing in my life that I can control. And just seeing Caroline in there giving the thumbs up and smiling and waving really loves my spirits.     I’ve been consistently joining Caroline since January this year, (w/ 1 or 2 rest days per week). When I started out, I couldn’t manage to do the wide bicep curls properly with my 5lbs dumbbells and today, I can’t believe I managed to complete the entire 60 seconds of wide bicep curls without any pause with two 10lbs dumbbells. Consistency works!

    Hi Caroline & everyone, just winded up with the workout 🤎 Thank you for this tip *Don’t cheat yourself* during those 21s finisher- I really needed that because I was about to use momentum but instead, I stopped, realigned and went again. It took me 3 extra minutes to finish but quality reps all the way!!! Weights used :- 20kgs & 7.5kgs, the biceps were the hardest to work after those heavy compound lifts but I feel awesome 🤩 Did the add-on too & who doesn’t love a no-repeat HIIT?!

    This series is really teaching me the value of SLOWING DOWN my reps. I was definitely doing everything too fast and hurried. What a difference.

    The way Caroline looks at the camera and smiles after each tough set of curls… it’s like she’s saying “I know it hurts - I’m in pain too - but we can do it! Keep pushing!” ❤️❤️❤️ The add-on HIIT workout this week is a killer… hope you’re all feeling brave and strong! ☠️ For me it’ll be Day 5 working my arms and abs plus the 500 rep cardio workout. I’ve got a new set of dip bars; can’t wait to use them! 😊

    I did the 500 rep after last Sunday's iron workout, which was super hard, so for this week I did my HIIT workout on Thursday. I think that will work better for me during the iron series.

    "Don't cheat yourself!" 😂 Made me laugh in the 21s. Came at right time as arms nearly dead. Completed it at my own pace. Enjoyed Pull Day! Loved rows were unilateral so went heavier. Fun pushing thru the curls. Got that nervous smile everytime I see Holds 😆. Great workout! Also did the add-on Notorious HIIT workout! Thanks Caroline! ❤️ Happy Sunday!

    Morning Trish...I loved that comment on the 21s too! I just loved that finisher...I always so much enjoy working biceps...and I love isometric holds! Rows aren’t my favourite exercise...but I do them as I know that I should! I dud the add on HIIT too and I really loved it...it’s a fantastic workout isn’t it! Hope you have a happy Easter Sunday!     👏👏👏 well done Trish. Super work this morning. It was a very intense heavy lifting session. Lifted 20kg this morning and it was tough but great. Did drop to 12.5kg for overhead pull as can't lift those heavy weights over my head. Used 7.5kg for everything else. There was 🔥🔥🔥 there but great. Add on done too. Had never done notorious HIIT before. So it was tough but so good. Loved the abs in the middle. Need to rest now I think. Have a great Easter Sunday. You deserve an egg 🥵🥵

    Thanks so much for suggesting a HIIT add on👏🏻 Without it I’d often chose the ones that are more “comfortable” for me, but this way I push myself outside my comfortzone which is so needed for my goals👌🏻 And if I really don’t feel like it, I still chose something else☺️

    I just found your content and I am in love! I love that even as fit as you are you get tired and have to stop at times and you show that. You don't cut it out you and act like you are the strongest person to exist. It shows its ok to go slow, to go at your own pace, and to get tired during the workout. You are making my strength journey worth it!

    I'm now on my third time through this program, I obviously love it. The one move I always struggled with was the pullovers - I couldn't find a way to properly target the lats and it tended to aggravate my shoulder. Moving from flat on the floor to the more standard position of head/upper back on a bench (or in my case ottoman) has been the single biggest game changer. It's become one of my favorite overall exercises and feels great in my lats - would recommend anyone give it a shot.

    If anyone else is doing HIIT add ons are you doing HIIT first or second? I can’t decide what’s best...but today I’ll start with HIIT...it’s a workout that I can only just remember but no repeat HIIT is always fun!     Hi Matthew! Happy Easter ☺️ I think it's best to do the HIIT after strength training because you need to use your full energy first for lifting heavy weights at an optimum level. I used to do my HIIT before strength training and I felt a bit drained out during the workout but you do you. It's always best to try out all options and then decide which suits you best. Hope you enjoy your workout 😉

    Happy Easter Everyone 🐣...I'm not sure if after todays workout I will manage to crack open any easter eggs as my back and biceps are shattered. So today was another wee milestone for me as I moved to 25kg for the back work, the pullovers and the supine row were definitely challenging. Stuck with 10s which were great for the bicep work. I did my HIIT yesterday and qas hoping to Sprint tonight but the weather is awful here is wet, dull and just miserable.     So I upped my single arm row weight from 15kg to 17kg today 😤 My arms were dead near the end for the biceps part. Literally training to failure after around 6 reps 🤣 This is going to hurt tomorrow, I am sure 😅 Hope everyone had a good session! Happy Easter! 💖💪

    Omg Kim, that's such incredible strength! I am a man and just saw this lesson because my grandma does this lesson! I challenged her to an armwrestle. I could not even move her arm even using both my arms together! I feel really weak and unconfident. 😟

    @@rupinjeremiah9589 Thank you! I am sure you that with training and consistency, you'll eventually lift heavier than I do! 😅 Just continue progressively overloading your weights. I now do 20kg single arm rows. Trying to build my back and get better at pull-ups. Have fun working out with Caroline and hope to see you around here more often! ☺💪

    @@Kim-tc2hz Thank you for your encouragement and guidance! I did it again with 3 kg but I gave up around the 14 minute mark as my arms completely collapsed ☹ My grandma did the full session with 8 kg for curls and 17 kg for one arm rows.

    This is the best CG program I've ever done 💯🔥🔥. The workouts are precise and focused on the different areas and only 30 minutes, I feel sore even after 3 days especially leg days. I'm pretty sure I will repeat this program again. Thank you for always challenging us to be better and stronger 🙏🏽 Edit: PS- my arms feel like jelly, idk how I'm gonna work today 😂

    I decided to go a little lighter. And my heaviest is my kettlebell 30kg. Too Heavy to do rows. I used a 15kg Dumbbell for the single-arm rows and pullovers, 12.5kg Dumbbell for the single-arm supine rows and 7.5kg Dumbbell for the rest. The finisher, was difficult and I stopped a couple of times because the dumbbells felt unbearable and my arms were shaking and Caroline warned us NOT TO CHEAT.😂😂, so I didn't. It did burn. 💥💥💥💥💥. Add on, Notorious No repeat HIIT workout.

    I was always afraid to try CG workouts or programs but I enjoy watching her and her being a real human. This is my first program though I didn’t start on time and fell off some days but I always get back on to keep it going. I really appreciate such effort and time put into this. I enjoy the short videos and the burst of energy and soreness that follows. I will keep pushing through and keep working out with CG family.

    Quite possibly one of my favourite back and bi work outs that I have done with Caroline! i just love the longer working period to help fatigue the muscles and work to failure. A great combo of moves. The iso holds certainly got the lactic acid going! And 21's to finish - omg - bicep burner!!! Love love love the Iron series! Happy Monday!!! I used 16kg each and 8kg each. I just admire your strength and determination Caroline - such a great role model!!!!

    The Biceps section was brutal but so satisfying when I finished. I used 30, 25 for back and 15 & 12lbs for biceps.

    Caroline I have been enjoying the Iron Series so far. I noticed that I have become stronger since EPIC Endgame. I no longer have to pause a few more days to catch up and able to workout real time! You have no idea how you’ve help me and my mental health Caroline!

    Amazing way to start off my Easter Sunday! Used heavier weights than usual for all these exercises starting with 35lbs for the rows and pullovers at the start, 20lbs for the hammer curls and x body curls, then 15lbs for the wide curls and finisher. Did a 12 minute deadbug add on after too with 15lbs. Loving this series so far, thank you Caroline! Can't wait for week three! 🔥💪
