Iron man 2 was the first movie to show Iron man actually being quick and fairly nimble in combat like the comics.

I love the Mark VI and VII. So iconic! The MCU was killing at that time!

Great choice! It looks awesome and is definitely one of tony’s most versatile armours

This armor was pure power. I love that was capable of giving some fight to Thor. I think that with this armor Tony could take it down The Destroyer.

Same goes to Mark 6 that's I prefer and it's my favorite armor including Mark 4. Similar as in Armored Adventures.

Thank you! and agreed, it seems they incorporated many different looks from the comics for this suit, specifically the extemis armor and the standard 616 looks, like you mentioned

I love the triangular ark reactor. The 3 large missles coming out of each shoulder. (He never used) and his lasers. I like how agile the suit is and how it can do flips and change direction very quickly. It also seems to be his most durable multi-purpose suit.

Another great video - love this channel! Appreciate including the nod to the laser improvement between mark 6 and 7. I always wondered why he chose to just repair this suit after it got damaged in iron man 2 instead of going to the next phase like he did in iron man 1 (went from 3 - 4). Maybe it wasnt as damaged as badly as mark 3 so easier to repair idk, but i think its a cool armour!

thank you, I really appreciate that :) And I used to think about that a lot lol! since the new arc reactor was such a success he likely felt there was no need to make another suit that soon, plus majority of his time between iron man 2 and avengers was spent developing/building the stark tower so he probably didn't have much time to focus on building a replacement armor. Which also explains why the mark 7 was still in development by the time of avengers, which was a little over a year later in canon if I'm not mistaken. Regarding the mark 3 though, since it was "old" tech, when it was damaged, some of it was beyond repair. Which helps to explain why the chest plate is still heavily dented in every appearance it made after the first movie!

I think mark 6 is stronger than mark 46 because this suit can handle Thor while mark 46 had a hard time fighting Captain America

How does he get into it on the heli carrier. Can it open up like the mk 7, or does the heli carrier have an assembly unit?

when hawkeye and the other brainwashed agents attacked, as tony goes to get the suit, it can be seen in a storage container that looks very similar to the storage units he has in his hall of armor at his home. So it would make sense if he had it loaded onto the Helicarrier with some type of heavy lifting stark tech. and he most likely put it on with mobile gantry unit like we saw him use with the mark 4 at the stark expo!

Nice video but the mark 33 and mark 31 also have triangle shaped chest uni-beams.

I always viewed the the mark 31 and 33 as having more of a diamond shape, which is still technically a triangle so you are correct 😂
