@@slewone4905 rich, spoilt, cocky and self centered. Even when he changes to become a better person, the residue of his persona is still apparent in every scene. And with Pepper around, he is much more toned down. He carried MCU for an entire decade and if it was not for his sacrifice (in the final film) I doubt the MCU would have ended on a high note. Being a life long fan of Marvel and DC animations I have to say that I don't really feel like repeating those movies except this one.

Good idea. My best guess is that Thanos has all sorts of sci-fi bollocks that nullified missile lock on his ships and the like after the Battle of New York was such a colossal failure for the Chitauri. And of course, on a thematic level, it likely wouldn’t be as satisfying to just have the army come in & whoop Thanos’ purple backside instead of it being the Avengers themselves doing it.

Considering past events, We’d rather have approval of a country’s establishment without substantial corruption than have to invade them to end a reign of warlords like those in terrorism right now. I don’t agree with the idea of war but then again terrorists came knocking at our door in 2001 and since then we could not ignore them. One way or another another country like China will break their souls on a system which appears peaceful but with the denial of rights, LONG before we Americans mess up a country’s political power again.

@@topsecret1837 Yeah, the trouble is, the authoritarian governments are usually the fault of the US (Or Britain or France) in the first place. Take Iran for example. It had a functioning democracy until it was overthrown by the US. When that puppet government was overthrown, they ended up with a theocratic regime. And that's the standard for the US foreign policy. In Iraq, Saddam Hussein was put *into* power by the US. The Taliban were installed by the US to fight off the Russians. Etc. The US might well be trying to end the reign of Warlords. But they are usually Warlords that they created. And not in the figurative sense, like ISIS, where its an example of blowback from a power vacuum created by the US. As in the US helped a young Saddam Hussein seize power in the first place. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_involvement_in_regime_change

Not really. Since the Jericho embodies his old life. The life he left behind and realized was wrong. He shut down the weapons division of Stark Industries because those weapons were being used against innocent citizens and American people. He shows regret in making weapons like it seen in a line "this was never my life" in AoU. Wanting to make amends by creating better technology to help people. Helping S.H.I.E.L.D to outfit the hellacarriers with Arc Repulsor technology. Thinking it would ensure public safety. (But we know how that story went). But using a Jericho at the end of his story would undo a lot of character development he went through to ensure the no weapons policy on his company to become better and stronger than the enemy

Dario Montieri Thanos only destroyed a fraction of the moon’s mass, and even then, he was only able to do so by dismantling it piece by piece, which is much easier to do than breaking it with one force. The missiles that tony used were extremely small compared to what militaries use e.g. hydrogen bombs. If Thanos were to destroy said missiles, then their radioactive fallout would poison him and kill him. Of course, he can always use the space and time stone to escape, but that just proves my point that he actually isn’t strong enough to confront the world’s military might head on.
