Da Boss Do it with one finger slowed down then work it faster and faster perfectly till its up to tempo then restart adding the finger completed the power chord

Da Boss Yeah if you want and you are learning something not difficult but fast you half the tempo or speed of the song and play it perfectly that fast then incrementally speed it up. Its how you want to pratice everything

Great lesson! My daughter got the first riff as a homework-lesson from her guitar teacher last wednesday - now after watching your video she does know how to play most part of the song within only two hours... You are a really good teacher! And it is fun, too!

Another awesome lesson. This song has 4 separate riffs in one song. I just finished your pentatonic course and I like how on the last riff Iommi adds the blues note to that run.

Thank you man your really making my hobby go from playing one string rhythms to playing iconic rock with short lessons.you do any tool songs I want to learn some tool.

I tried learning how to play Iron Man before KZread ever existed, but never really could figure it out. But now, after watching Marty here, within 4 days, I am now playing up to the 3rd riff and ready to learn the next part. I quit playing my guitar for years because, before KZread all there was is music books and guitar lessons that you had to pay for. Thanks Marty for your instructional posts. Keep'em coming.

To play it like Tony you need to: Yes, open E behind the nut bend, BUT hit an E on the D string at the same time, it's 2 notes. One note E on D string, the other note on E string is sharp but bends down to E to make the cool eerie sound. AND the main rhythm / chords during verses must on E & A strings up the neck.

I strum on the higher note every time and then bring it down instead of what marty does and just strums once and then moves. It makes it sound a little more powerful i think.

It does sound sooo AWESOME! it is probably the one riff you could play over and over again without getting tired of that awesome sound. Do you know if this song is in standard tuning or DROP C? I'm not sure what you said at the beginning when I was trying to paying attention to everything you said, because of my ADHD and HDD which high definition disorder. Sometimes I have to repeat something more than 3 times just to understand what someone said once.
