About Iron Maiden:
Iron Maiden are an institution. Over the course of 44 years they have come to embody a spirit of fearless creative independence, ferocious dedication to their fans, and a cheerful indifference to their critics that’s won them a following that spans every culture, generation, and time-zone. A story of gritty determination and courageous defiance of the naysayers, theirs has been an adventure like no other.
The band’s immense discography includes the studio albums ‘The Number Of The Beast’, ‘Piece Of Mind’, ‘Powerslave, ‘Somewhere In Time’, ‘Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son’, ‘Fear Of The Dark’, ‘The Final Frontier’ and ‘The Book Of Souls’which have spawned many classic hits as ‘The Trooper’, ‘Wasted Years’, ‘Hallowed Be Thy Name’, ‘Wasting Love’, ‘Run To The Hills’, ‘Aces High’, ‘Rime Of The Ancient Mariner’ and ‘2 Minutes to Midnight’.

This album came at the absolute perfect time for me. During a time filled with personal struggles between college and home, and another one of them being having to see the girl who broke my heart(twice) at work, I started always keeping one earbud in when I’m on the clock to keep my brain occupied. This album does what many others couldn’t, kept me grounded and keeps me from breaking down every time I see her. I just keep the volume high and lose myself in their songs. Bless Iron Maiden for making a tough time in my life feel a bit easier \m/ and to anyone who reads this - thank you for taking your time to read it and whatever you’re going through keep your head up🤘🤘

This is exactly how I felt with The Book Of Souls. I was being buried by conflicts from college and home, and I was trapped in a relationship that was literally going to get me killed. The Book Of Souls was not only the cathartic escape I was begging for from those anxieties, but it was also largely the motivating kick in the ass I needed to stand up to those authorities pulling me in different directions, none of which I wanted to go, and to finally take control of my situation. I'm not joking. "Speed Of Light" made me re-evaluate everything, and six years later, I'm honestly living my best life of which I only ever dreamed.

One of my favourite tracks on this album! This one specially conected me with my teenager-self who was discovering the band, bringing me the amazing feeling of the first time that I listened to Iron Maiden.
The entire album needed to be like this song. This is classic Iron Maiden. melodic and Fassst!!...

The album is perfect, actually. Plenty of fast songs, and some slow churning ones.

@@maksphoto78 Actually, you're right. I'm listening to the Parchment now and the last 3 minutes are really fast. It really has some fast songs on it. Great album...
The more often you listen to Iron Maiden songs the better they get !
Man, I hope they do this one live!
Brilliant! Love the blinking eyes on the flag...nice touch.
The Best long standing metal group. I remember in the early 80's buying my first Album/cassette Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden, then after hearing that went and bought "Killers".
The best song of the whole album! 🤘🔥

Agreed. Probably this is the best short song in Maiden catalogue since 7th son album.

Waiting for my CD to land. Apparently it will be here by 1pm according to Amazon. Can't wait to hear it loud on a decent set of speakers. Love that Eddie on the flag blinked as the first drum sounded

UP THE IRONS! FORTUNATE THE ONES WHO LIVED IN THE SAME AGE OF THESE MIGHTY GIANTS!
New fresh style and subtil track : a big surprise . The 6 boys are still kicking.
I wish I was born earlier because if I was I would have been able to listen to more new madien! 12 years for 1 album just isn’t enough. This album rocks please make more.
This song will sound awesome live in concerts with everyone singing the chorus!

@The Stranger Really? I don't think so... I find it a total bore. I really wanna see people banging on The Parchment and Senjutu... lol Anyway there is not gonna be any concert anymore for quite a while, I guess...

@The Stranger Eh. Personally I love this song, but I also think some Maiden songs are boring, just not any on this album.
Thank you Iron Maiden for releasing this album on my blessed mother's birthday. Rest In Peace (Sept. 3, 1945-Aug. 12, 2014.
The album is very very good!!!! This is Iron Maiden!!!
Great album! Loved Book of Souls, but like this even more!
