Jubilee into lad (or visa versa) into Odin into something else

Iron Lad grants you the privilege of doubling up on a certain card in your deck, not unlike Mystique. In a game of 12 single copy of cards, that is valuable. Whether it's worth 6K tokens is for each to decide for him/herself. Cozy here's definitely a glass half-full kinda guy which is why we watch him, I guess ^^

​@@dankelly Not exactly: unlike those two the 4/6 statline makes him good even if he doesn't get exactly what you want, and he can copy stuff that can't normally be copied by other means. It's really hard to gauge exactly how good he is, we will have to wait and see how he performs over time especially since howard isn't out yet.

@@thomaswayne1852 Iron Lad copying Morph just means he morphs into an opponents card, and you still draw into morph, as expected. If he copies Kang, Iron Lad disappears, but you still draw into Kang.

Iron Lad is Jubilee crossover with Mystique. Notably both Jubilee and Mystique has very low power.

One fun combo I found with testing is Iron Lad copying Brood. Getting 18F for 4E is nice. A note, Korg and Rockslide shuffle your deck, so they can mess with your top deck knowledge. Found that out earlier.

I've saved up over 24k tokens over the past month and a half just so i can buy all cards this month, cant wait, so excited!

I was running Iron Lad with Vision and Captain Marvel last night and it was pretty ridiculous. I had multiple games with 2 Captain Marvels or 2 Visions plus the other, which was rather insane having 3 of those movement cards.

Great Video as always Cozy. You're the best. Stat Lad is a great deck, it's a lot of fun. I removed Korg for Nebula. It wins a lot.

Turn 6 Shang Chi that I would have never drawn was great. Slotting him in is making some of my decks more viable.

Is getting Mr Negative early good if the next card in the deck is also Mr Negative? I guess he becomes a 0/4 that you can play for points on the last turn?

I slotted him into Rocks n Hawks with Iron Man and Doom in place for She Hulk, Shang Chi, and Coulson and man it seems busted. The card is super fun!

Question for podcast Today after a month and a half I finally pulled a new card in Shanna. I almost cried knowing it will drop to pool 3 in a week and a half and even though it was buffed there is no place to playtest deck ideas that are less competitive without being punished with cube loss. How would you fix the multiple "feel bad" issues that come with the card acquisition system, and do you think that we should have a non ranked mode for testing new deck ideas? Love the content. Saving for high evolution.

Cozy most important question most of us have for you is: Do we wait for High Evolutionary, or buy iron lad assuming we only have enough for 1 tier 5 ? (If I could get both I would)

Between High Evolutionary, Iron Lad, and just needing Zabu (him, Surfer, & Sentry are the only series 4 cards I could really use) not sure how to save/spend my tokens. If zabu came up I could buy him but the temptation for high evolutionary is there and the wanting for iron lad is there too

High Evolutionary will be 6k for the foreseeable future since he's a big bad. Zabu comes down to pool 4 pretty soon. I'd opt for Evolutionary.

Does anyone know if absorbing man copies Iron Lad's inherent on reveal ability? Or does he just copy whatever on reveal IL pulled from the deck(if applicable)

Theoretically, he should copy Iron Lad's ability, since the text reads "If the last card played has an On Reveal ability". That just makes him even more broken. Edit, I'm wrong. Since Iron Lad's text would change when he copies the top card, A. Man would then copy the new text. However that would allow you to play basically 3 copies of the same card. (Provided it was an On Reveal card.)

Yeah this would be good. It's not such an issue when playing on PC, but on mobile it's a pain switching between the video and the game (especially since the game keeps closing the deck and going to the homepage).

Impressive card, never thought about all its possibilities! P.S: Is someone locked on level 50 this season? I had this Moon Girl/Infinaut deck that was always an 8-cube win but once I reached level 55 everything started to fall down. It happened the same last season, I was trapped on level 50 during the last 2 weeks and there's not a single deck working right now!

Nah not really, as the person above me said its just a skill issue. I have never played meta decks before last season (didn't have the cards) and i climbed to rank 70 easily after the enchantress buff

That makes no sense lol. I literally started on level 20 this season and reached level 50 in less than two days. That's not a skill issue imo. But there's not a single deck working right now. Nor Rocks and Hawks, nor Negative, nor Wong, nor Thanos or new Shuri. It's frustrating.

You were probably playing bots who fall for the big Turn 6/Turn 7 swing. Less bots at level 50 which is why you're finding it more difficult. Best advice is to retreat for 1 cube more.

@@Jaferife44 as you climb ranks your opponents get better, its not like they remain the same skill. They expect your plays and play around them. So yes it is a skill issue. Also from 20-40 there are more bots on average to help beginners so you get some free cubes and easier games around those ranks.

I was torn between Lad and HE but as much as i like my tech cards i don't think Lad would be the right fit for me

I am saving for Thanos because he is perma S5, but I am also waiting for High Evo . Probably prio High Evo, Thanos not that good right now.

Iron lad looks really strong. Really tempted to get him, but only sitting on 6k tokens. Personally, I'm holding out for High Evolutionary next week(?). As I play a patriot deck a lot. Feel like it would be a bigger benfit to me.

@@vangeles11 it doesn’t work with Patriot, he replaces all the non ability cards with abilities so Patriot would buff nothing, he’s an alternative that runs similar cards

I think hes alright, i personally dont think hes gamebreaking. However i do think hes one of those cards who's only going to get stronger and stronger as more cards come out

I like deck building and this game in general, but I would like to know your opinion on some locations. Like District X, that seems completely uncounterable (which goes against all the game mechanics) and Wierdworld (you have to hope you already had Scarlet Witch or Rhino in your hand). Yeah some locations really are hardcounter for a certain card or deck, but these 2 are hardcounters on everything and you cannot do anything about it. IMHO they should delete these 2 locations. Awseome videos all and all, love the content. Keep on the good work.

it sucks that ALL new cards are 6k tokens man. It's getting really tiresome to see all these great new cards everyone enjoys and they are fun, like Jeff and now Iron Lad and next week, Howard. I play a TON of snap and I have only managed to collect 10k tokens I mean, I won't drop 100euros to get tokens, no way. Jeff, Mold and now Iron Lad make me want to quit the game, not being able to enjoy new cards and having to find a way to play around them with the cards you have feels really bad. Also mark my words, the card is going to get nerfed as soon as it's going to drop series.. Great video though man! Keep it up!

I mean would you spend money on a console game? It’s kinda the same crap.. if you play the game consistently and enjoy it I see no reason why dropping a lil cash in a mobile game is a bad thing not to mention if you play it everyday. Gotta make this it’s a mobile game crap.

Is there a token update? Nevermind he kind of gives his opinion, which is its up to the player. I only buy the season pass, so dolphin I guess. I usually save for the big bads, waiting for Kang or high evolutionary.

Iron lad a great card that can be played in any archetype Howard the duck a great support for just a 1 cost The living tribunal, pair it with the iron man mystique onslaught on the onslaught citadel and you easily get an easy win But the best card is High evolutionary a card that unlock a new archetype

Im using this as a second MODOK to make sure i get a turn5 MODOK. If i dont have MODOK to play on turn 5, that's a 50-50 for Iron Lad to copy MODOK. The only time i cant MODOK on 5 is if MODOK and Iron Lad, along with Chavez.

Surprised noone has mentioned Brood yet. 4/18 seems kinda cracked to me.

He would be a 4/6 and produce two 2 power Brood, not 6 power. So still a 4/10 play. With Surfer it would be a 4/14 play. Edit: I stand corrected! Iron Brood it is!

Great video, as always ^^. I do feel this is when the meta might start to lean a bit too much on pay to win. Unless they edit that Iron Lad a bit and add some kind of limitation, we're gonna have way too many "Galactus" kind of issues. Hope the dev team will be able to keep everything healthy

That said, as for every card game, i think for the "general" player base to be engaged on the long run, they should definitely use those weekly patches to send in the good signals. Teasing a card everyone with a fun and crazy efficient mechanic is good and gets everyone excited, but then considering how pricey 6k tokens can be, we 're getting greedy here :3 Which is a shame, i love the game and it is super fun, unless when the meta is ruled by ptw cards that is (Shuri, then Galactus, Iron Lad, High Evo). They could release the counters"answers" to those cards in Pool 3/4n every other week or so i guess, or something like that

Been playing him in my stature deck and he's just brokenly strong. Even if he copies nothing good, the stats are worth it. He's going to get nerfed for sure, he's basically a 4/6 jubilee that doesn't pull the card (aka copies it) nor use a 2nd location. Wouldn't be surprised if they made him a 4/0 or something along those lines.

I would interested to see how Iron Lad pairs in a Galactus deck

@@HigherKaiju well I guess it's a hail mary pass - if you haven't drawn your card on 5 and you have iron lad in hand, you've not really got anything to lose in slamming it (not unless the opponent chooses that exact moment to snap).

I bought Jeff last week. He’s nice. Maybe give it. Few days and see where lad nets out in the meta and see what makes the most sense

I personally recommend you wait until High Evo releases and see how that performs, then decide.

Marvel snap has got to do something about card availability these series 4/5 cards are absolutely busted and much needed in deck building but most people won't have the tokens for a series 5 card for 3-4 weeks were getting more and more game breaking series 5 cards but there not in most players decks.......

Is this going to be nerfed quickly? I could see this dropping to 4/3 or 4/4 eventually.

Yeah there's no way this card keeps this ability at this strength level, with no downsides? Being a 4 cost version of a 6 cost card is ridiculous. Being a 6 power version of a 0 power card is ridiculous. Copying any ability in the game? It's gonna be nerfed somehow. Either in the statline or changed just to ongoing effects or just reveals or something. But it'll probably be untouched for a few months while its still a 6000 token card and rare.

Should I buy Iron lad or wait for the High Evolutionary?
