The fast food challenges were cool, but honestly I would love more content like this. Simple stuff your dad can whip up while you ask him the questions we would ask were we standing there. 9/10 sandwich, 10/10 content.

honestly thought that almost any other dad who isn't a bloody iron chef might say something like "you give me a 9? i gave your *mom* a 9 last night." instead.

Great chefs looks for inspiration and new angles of food anywhere. There is no ego, the great ones always are learning regardless of how long they have been in the field. Because if you don’t evolve, you get left behind.

Even with the rating the son gave him a 9 but chef gave himself an 8 and criticized himself. Wry honest

Top 10 things i respect about world class chefs! They never stop learning and never admit they forget things! Susur is my next favourite after Kenji. Very humorous as well. I wished my dad enjoy cooking with me more cuz family cook offs are fun

Thing is, his dad won't be able to help with the channel forever. His son needs to establish himself in at least some capacity.

@@stoheha If he makes a 100 videos, and every video has atleast a 100k views, he's setup a very healthy monthly income for himself. Also alot of the videos have close to a million views if not more, plus these videos keep being watched. So the revenue will keep churning for a good 3-4 years atleast.

Dad seems like such a chill, nurturing guy. Love the passion he has for his craft.
I remember always watching his dad on so many different shows it’s cool to see him on KZread cooking in his home this should be a tv series
god this channel never disappoints, every upload is a vibe. thank you once again !!!!!
you know that would be nice ,if you guys and your dad do simple recipes , just like this one every sunday!!! i love watching our dad give out some tips and his own way of cooking he's so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your dad’s creativity and how he brings his own native Hong Kong influences to the table. Having Hong Kong parents myself, I grew up eating golden sand chicken wings and to see your dad fusing this towards the western culture cuisine of the spicy crispy chicken sandwich makes me so happy. I can’t wait to try this recipe! Love this type of content. Thanks Jet and Su Sur! Respects 👊🏻
The way your dad displays his passion during the cooking is awesome to watch
Being able to be around your dad when he talks about the stuff he loves is truly amazing. Although I don’t see my father, I’m thankful for my mom and sons being able to share memories like these with. Much love
its great seeing father and son doing things together so wholesome, keep at it guys the food looks amazing
So lucky to have such a great dad

Not sure you actually save time if you're only cutting like 10-15 grapes... since you have to wash more dishes
I admire your dad for being very supportive to his kids ❤️ more vids
Nice to know immigrant parents no matter what ethnicity are the same :). I am your dad’s age and my Swiss/Austrian parents are the same .. also thank you for making soo much Rosti. And I think your dad is pretty good at Austrian Pastry. If he would like recipe for Linzer Torte.. a few hundreds years old. No problem. Happy to share . Glad you came back to Canada 🇨🇦 with great weather. Thanks for the videos.

So cool your dad is down to help you guy's grow in your career of youtube and be on camera whenever and do whatever, its all so wholesome.
Love your relationship you have with your dad. It is something that not many sons have.
That crunch is serious! Awesome
Your dad is the chillest dude. Like, he’s so cool I wouldn’t even be nervous to cook with him. That slaw looks good as hell too. Might have to make this whole dish sometime soon.

You're a lucky man. I'm glad you were given a Dad, such as him.
Such a simple, yet delicious recipe!
Frying in a bowl is next level.. love him!!

That looks great. My dad made coleslaw but nothing like yours. Guys outstanding. Thank You.
I've said this before and I'll say it again - your dad is such a gem!!!
Looks absolutely delicious!
Looks really good. Definitely going to try that golden sand.
Here we do slaw pretty similar. Rather than the grapes we use raisins we also use apple. We also add dried cranberries as well
more content like this please, chef from iceland here will most definetely be making this one at home sometime
I'm gonna give this a try! I love sambal and often use it with honey and red wine vinegar to make a spicy slaw that is amazing on various sandwiches.
That Crunch On The Chicken Sandwich!😋👍
He is really amazing person even with being known and famous he still pickup ideas he saw even that from yt or tiktok very humble and amazing person.. I'm really learning a lot ❤
I saw you and Syd at Trinity Bellwoods this week. I'll have to come up and say hi next time. Welcome back to Toronto! loved this vid
love that grape cutting technique! Works great for cherry tomato as well
That grape cutting hack and putting lemon juice through shredder to catch seeds is cool
Looks really tasty. My kitchen always ends up a mess when I deep fry stuff though. I need to try this sambal stuff.
Omg I have all these ingredients for the marinade. 😮. Love making my own coleslaw but never thought about adding Wasabi. I'm definitely going to do this recipe this weekend! Thanks for this.

Use real wasabi root, not horseradish that is colored green. A lot of places have fake wasabi.
Guys you are definitely my favorite new follow. So real and authentic
I also like the fast food stuff just because i like to see your dad get excited about the chalanges. But I like seeing his recipes too and you asking his questions from a non professional perspective is perfect. This is excellent content and very useful. Thank you guys.
