I recommend one good singer to you. Her name is 'Sohyang'. She is a Korean national treasure singer and gospel singer. She covered 'I Have Nothing' and was invited by David Foster, the original songwriter and Whitney Houston producer, as the main singer for his 30th anniversary performance. There, I sang 'I Have Nothing' and 'I Will Always Love You'. Her songs and covers are a real incredible diva that makes you feel overwhelmed and moved the moment you hear it. There are so many other good songs, but I hope you enjoy listening to these two songs in full.

Fun fact: this video was filmed in Portland, Oregon and the first to feature Chance as a full member of the group. His first video appearance was a cameo in, House Party.

I second that! I'd like to see Barry react to some of their behind the scenes vids too -- that might be something he could put on his second channel.

As already mentioned, this was Adam Chance's first video as a member of Home Free. You can imagine how much pressure he must have felt joining a group with such a huge fan base. He was universally welcomed by the Home Fries.

With Chance, formerly the bass in Street Corner Symphony, joining the group, he and Tim now had someone else in the group to cover the bass when they sang lead. It worked out well for both of them and the whole group.

"I won't give up, no I won't give in, 'til I reach the end, and then I'll start again!" I have to tell you a story, Barry. Zootopia came out in 2016. My 17-year-old daughter died of cancer in 2015, so she never saw this movie and, therefore, neither have I. (How could I see that without her?) I am absolutely positive she would have wanted to see that movie because she loved that sort of thing. All the most-played songs on her laptop were inspirational songs - songs of determination (not religion), and she would have been ALL OVER this one! I had never heard it until I saw Home Free's version and cannot help but think of Elise every time I hear it. She was never one to give up. Never. And the song still makes me smile. I'm pretty sure she would have also loved "Can't Stop the Feeling".

Barry, this was also Chance's 1st recording with Home Free after the groups founder Chris Rupp, had left in May 2016

You can see Chance is still wearing his shirt from his previous gig so when Chris Rupp left the group Chance was already known to them and he was a perfect fit with the group.

hi barry, i had not heard of home free before, so i must thank you for introducing a brilliant group to me. they are amazing and i can't understand how i've missed them until now. another great video barry, looking forward to the next one.

@@juliewaterfield1804 I don't download as such just save them to a folder on spotify, as I'm always on net, not sure if you can hear them off-line. Don't think saving to folder uses your space, where downloads probably does.

Home Free began their From the Vault series with this video. They take you behind the scenes as they make the video. The directors (The Hound and The Fox) had their baby boy on set and it was appropriate since Home Free said this video was for their young fans who they call Small Fries.

Thank you, Barry! 🍀 I loved that the joy and encouragement of this song spread to you and then to us. Your smile is so uplifting. Home Free did such a great job expressing this joy as well. Their arrangement was great. So many BB’s (Bassy Boy, Beardy Boy, Beatboxing Boy, Biceps Boy). They are probably just outside the bus door waiting to get on. 😁 When I listened to this what kept circling my brain was the idea of the indomitable human spirit. Wonderful! I am a middle school/high school math and science teacher. I have concerns about the effect of social media on our beautiful young people during this precious window of time. There has been such an increase in mental health issues. I am glad that this song was in a movie that so many young people would have watched. The lyrics are so encouraging. We all make mistakes, fall down, do “stupid” things we regret. When all they see is perfect bodies, perfect faces, perfect lives, it is easy to forget. I loved the lyric “Nobody learns without getting it wrong”. “A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.” -- Albert Einstein Soooo…… Let’s keep getting up, keep going, and keep doing that over and over and over again.

Barry, I think I told you that HF dropped "Listen to the Music" (Doobie Brothers cover from the 70s) last week (OMG, SO GOOD), but this Friday I think I found my favorite (Well, other than Mayday) "Brother". Home Frees original songs are absolutely brilliant... Austin sings and dances to one of his songs called When You Walk in Like That...I hope to see you do a reaction to that plus many many more.. I've been following them for years.. Everything they do is absolutely brilliant..

It's me Barry ... if you listen closely, you'll hear the beat boxer (adam rupp) change up his tones and rhythms with each singer. he's basically the heartbeat of the group

Yay, another Home Free reaction from you! I'm a total Home Fry now, and only discovered them 3 weeks ago. There's just something about their songs and them personally that is so uplifting. You should react to some of their behind the scenes videos, these guys are so funny and and have an amazing rapport with each other and fans. Tim Foust ("Bassy Boy") in "Southerner In The Snow" is a riot.... such a dry sense of humor.

OMG, this is sooo nice to listen to. Like honey fo the ears. Beautiful voices everyone of them. I really liked this very much, even thou I'm not from Ireland. I am living in Sweden. ❤❤❤❤

I think of my daughter every time I hear this song. Her first taekwondo tournament, she signed up for everything except sparring (no experience or gear). She signs up for gymnastics. I've made an arrangement to exchange house cleaning for pottery lessons. She went for a walk one day and came home with an agreement to work at a horse farm up the road in exchange for riding lessons. She's gotten entrepreneurial by buying deeply discounted stuff from the Dollar General and selling them to kids at school so she can buy what she wants. She is amazing and I see her going very far in life.

The reason why Austin is Biceps Boy is that if you are born naturally thin, you have to develop some muscles or be endiessly laughed at on the beach, particularly if your legs appear to have gone on growing when the rest of you stopped. Two songs dropped this week for you to add to the list: Listen to the Music (stunning beatboxing from Adam, simulating the double percussion of the Doobie Bros) and Georgia on my Mind from Austin, on his own channel. His maturer voice is a thing of great beauty but he's also gaining a reputation as a songwriter. If you're feeling nationalistic, he's got a gorgeous cover of Danny Boy, too.

This was my very first favorite by Home Free! So uplifting, it got me through a lot of dark days.

Wow the lyrics are hitting the spot for me today. I was working on one of creative projects and kept making mistakes, I couldn't figure out what the heck I was doing wrong. I know what I do, have the years of experience. It's like my brain is taking a vacation today. LOL What the heck is going on? Adam Rupp (the beatboxer) has won 2 world championships in beatboxing. There's a video of his 'drum solo' taken by an audience member and a video "9-5 beatboxing breakdown' where allll of them beatbox. Home Free also has a series 'From the Vault' which is the behind the scenes filming of their videos - one of those is Try Everything.

I saw them sing this at a show in March. Sounded wonderful.
