I traveled on this ship a few months ago, as far as I found that it is very comfortable on the seats and the cabins were very comfortable and I had a good 3 hours sleep. And the staff were very helpful. And the boat is very clean.

The outdoor seating doesn’t look as good as the flexes, especially Brittany ferries was on Santona yesterday and it was fantastic. There was nice lounge seating and sofas on the top deck. Wooden benches and lots of chairs to put your feet up and just relax and watch the sea. They even have a outdoor bar and cafe. Although it was shut for our sailing

But where are the people? Traveling between Tallinn and Helsinki under the name Star, the ferry came to life, artists performed, there was a playroom for children and slot machines for adults. The sun terrace was not so desolate, there were more bars, restaurants, fast food places and shops, all within a 2 hour drive. Driving it was like a short cruise. People had fun. Or does it still need time to settle in under the new owners? It served passengers between Estonia and Finland for 16 years. And quickly, both at sea (25-27 knots) and in the port, loading and unloading took place within 1 hour. Two-story entrance and exit. The round trip took only 5 hours (80 km). This ferry still has a lot of untapped potential.

Stena Plus is a much weaker product for quality of snacks. Stena seem also to very hard sell the additionals upselling their menu. Although most people in Stena Plus are extra gold card holders, it’s not hard to spend £1,000 or €1,350 a year with Stena to gain gold status for a person plus 1. With club class everyone pays inc infants so it’s a different pricing dynamic.
