The ones who performed was (Irina & Lavrans from Team Jarle, Trine & Arthur from Team Ina, Adele & Eirik from Team Yosef and Herman & Inger Lise from Team Espen) It was only a coincidence that every mentor got one of theirs through. The last person mentioned on each team above went through (Lavrans, Arthur, Eirik and Inger Lise). This Friday these ones will perform: Marita & Tor Vidar from Team Jarle, Rakel & Joakim from Team Ina, Nola & Liv-Margrethe from Team Yosef and Julian & Lisbeth from Team Espen).

Irina is the most talented artistic singer in the history of The Voice Norway. She or Kristina should have won this competition. Liv-Margrethe is still a possibility, but she does not have the rare artistic sensitivity that Irina and Kristina possess. Almost every year the most artistic talents are voted out too early. This show needs to remove the "people are voting" aspect and get better judges in. Basically no point in watching this show in the final episodes, same situation every year...

Get better judges and change the people vote aspect? You should never remove what the people want cause the people are the ones buying these singers music if they end up as artists. To let 4 people decide is not right in a concept like this. As you have seen many years a lot of great ones who people would have voted for is gone before the live shows, so if the people should have no say, who is to say the result would be any better. Better judges? These are experienced artists, songwriters and musicians. No matter who is a mentor some people will always be unhappy with the choices they make. They do some stupid pairings which is the biggest problem, but that would probably happen even if the best artist in the world is mentors. Who do you want as a mentor then? We could only vote for the 8 performances that was picked out for the night, and thats so much better than if we could only vote one from each team as it has been before. Lavrans and Inger Lise was a given to go through…I assume you are Norwegian by your name, so as you know, someone like Eirik who is from a part in Norway with lots of patriotism, will often be voted through, so I had a feeling he would get a lot of votes. He is a charm bomb and is great at what he does, but he doesnt have Norway’s best voice as they advertice The voice to be. Had Yosef paired Kristina with any other than Adele she would have been in the live and people would have voted her through. If Irina had performed next Friday she would probably been through to next round. And then there was Arthur, a great country voice. Since country music is big in our elongated country, especially in the rural places and on the countryside, I also knew one of the country boys would be voted through. Maybe thats why they were put in the same live? In 2021 a guy with a country voice won . A guy and a female country artist came very far last season. I dont know who chose the ones to sing in the two first live rounds, but this half was better. Irina also performed second which is the eorst starting position (even if it was only 8 performing).

@@raggeren88 How do you know how many times people voted? Did you look at their phones? 🤔 No one will get through with friends and family voting alone, even if you are rich. You need the support of the whole coumtry. She isnt th only young (though she is 24) taking part. She was just unlucky to be in the same heat as two favorites, two country singers (who has their fan base) and a Bergenser, LOL 🥴 Its not just in The Voice this accure, you find the same in MGP, Stjernekamp, Idol and most shows where people vote.. They could of course set a limit of 20 sms votes pr contestant. You could also vote for free online.

I am not against what you say about allowing a certain number of votes, though I found it a bit weird that you knew exactly how many times people around you voted. 😊You dont know how people voted from home though (both sms and online). Irina could have had a fan who was a millionaire for that matter 😉 Irina was one of my favorites and I liked all of her performances. I know from experience thay it is always important to stand out in some way in contests like this….but as I said, she was unlucky in the heat she was placed in, also, there are a lot of great participants this year, some that didnt even get to sing in the live rounds which they deserved (like Kristina, Andreas, Sigrid, Thea, Jiah, Alexander, Even, Bjørn Olav, Helene….). If it was up to me, I wish we could have had everyone to the end, but thats not how it works. Young people usually have an advantage when it comes to online voting though, cause the older ones either dont bother registrating online or dont know how to do it. Lavrans, Eirik and Irina are all 22 years old, Trine 23, Herman 24, Arthur 29, Inger Lise 34, and Adele 36, so there were other young contestants the same age. Next week, Nola who is 16, Rakel who is 17 and Lisbeth who is 18 will participate. I have a feeling all of them will advance (at least two of them), so the student theory isnt a deciding factor. You need support from more than family and friends.

@@In_my_own_mind Nobody has become a star after winning The Voice Norway. If you take the average of the taste of all people in our country you end up with something average. And no, most of the judges did not produce music of high artistic quality. Having a hit song does not make you an expert on art. Sorry. The only judge who had a high degree of sensitivity to the artistic side was Morten Harket and perhaps one of the current judges. A finale where the most talented artistic singers aren't present isn't worth watching... waste of time.

To be fair it’s not much of a surprise as to who will win this season since Inger Lise is a class above all of them, Lavrans is the only real competition now that Irina and Kristina are gone, but I don’t think he’ll manage to take down Inger, the clear fan favorite this season (no wonder why). But you’re right, winning The Voice does not help you almost all professionally since all of The Voice winner I’ve heard of so far whether it’s Norway or not are almost no-name artists. The only good thing coming out of it is the cash prize but even that runs out at some point. The best way to launch yourself as an artist is not to participate in any “talent” competitions, but to know the industry and know where to set your pills and roots. How many famous artists today are winners of any talent reality shows? Almost none. These competitions do nothing but fuck you up professionally. It’s all just for the cash. I’m sure there’s plenty of aspiring professional singers better than anyone competing here, maybe even Inger, but they just don’t want to make this massive mistake for their career.

Fast songs are really a trap. I’m happy she have done a great job and have shoned even with a bed song decision.

Talented yes, Voice please listen! Where are the alternative songs, Paloma faith did it all..2024 should be a year of discovery not a repeat of years gone by… I’m hoping to get better content..

I’m not sure what you mean by «where are rhe altrnative songs»? In Norway the contestants chose their own songs and having seen other The Voices I would say in Norway they chose a lot of somgs that we dont hear on other The Voices..
