Straight from the heart of the Scandinavia, where we are maybe first little shy but there is a lot of emotions of inside of us. And lady-reactor in the left looks so happy and content. :)

A-ha have a lot of amazing songs, but for some reason I always come back to this being my favorite from the band. The video is very period, with the motorbikes, the hair and the leather jackets. I am transported right back to my youth when I see it. Maybe that's why I love it so much? It must also be mentioned that Morten is also a beautiful soul on the inside. He treats his fans with the utmost respect despite the fact that it has been a huge burden for him to handle the admiration of fans for almost 40 years. There are countless films on KZread, which fans have posted from the meeting with him. He pays attention to everyone, and if he sees that there is someone who does not dare to come forward to take a picture, he invites them. I have great respect for the patience he shows, and over the years he has understood that he sings himself right into people's hearts. He says it's "a different kind of love". I'm from Norway myself, and may run into him randomly one day - but if that were to happen, I'd probably find another way to avoid meeting him. I only want the best for him, and the best thing is not another person joining the queue.

My favourite a-ha song

Thanks for listening! I will strongly recommend «Dark is the Night» (official video). It’s the lead single from their 5th album, and I never get tired of it. It stands out in a way I can’t explain. But yes, he is hitting them high notes again! Go for it😊

I love this song, the bass, voice and keys well a perfect song. I have all the cd's and a lot of vinyl records of this Norwegian pop-rock band.

Hard to believe that Morten Harket is 64 now, voice of a generation, what a singer that guy is!

I admit I've only heard one or two songs by A-ha and that seems to be the way when a band from a different generation has a number of songs that have forever entered popular culture. Until recently I could pretty much only name 'Take On Me' and 'The Sun Always Shines On TV'. It's nice to see you lovely ladies react to the extended catalogue. ~ Tabitha

Voice of an Angel

The vocals on the song is absolutely amazing. A very difficult song to sing - and Morten kills it. A-ha is an amazing band - if you like hair - you should see him in his long-hair phase 😉. I would say he is handsome more than pretty! Even to this day.🌹🕊 PS: There are way too many great songs to mention - which decade?

Classic a-ha track and great to see the official video. There was a "Hair Raid Warning" in this video so with that in mind I'd recommend the Official Video for Move To Memphis by a-ha. Morten Looks like a Lion in this video. Great reaction as always keep them coming !!!

If you three ladies want to hear a truly special live performance I strongly recommend ‘Eivør - Falling Free (Live from the Old Theatre in Torshavn)’. Eivør is from the Faroe Islands (about half way between Iceland and Scotland) and she did all the background singing and tribal vocalisations on the Netflix Viking drama series ‘The Last Kingdom’.

Was a big fan back in the days but somehow lost track of them. Always loved this song. Morten has such a beautiful voice❤

Time to get back to them then! :) They're still amazing! Check out this video: "Summer Moved On ;A HA- Live At Oslo Spektrum" from 2010. I think you'll like it. And they released an album as recently as 2022.

@@anneliespeters5355 I had no clue they were still around until I was amazed to recognise Morten's voice in the unplugged version of "Take On Me" in the theatrical release of Deadpool 2. I was blown away how utterly different and moving it was. Have returned to checking out all their newer stuff ever since.

My first reaction omg my mind blows away.

Ah-ha recorded the soundtrack to the James Bond movie "The living daylights" they had a track with that title which features scenes from the bond film, which had Timothy Dalton in the lead role. I am sure that the suave Timothy Dalton Bond and all the clips from the movie will make the video interesting. Keep up the reviews I love them.

One of my favourite songs of theirs. So many great albums they've released over the decades, if you ever decide to react to a full album, "East of the Sun, West of the Moon" is one of their best. So many great songs from it: "Waiting for Her", "Slender Frame", "East of the Sun". I'll stop there otherwise I'll just list the entire album's songs! 😅

The live version of SHADOWSIDE (by A-ha), recorded at the Royal Albert Hall in 2008 (in HD), is another one definitely worth checking out - it features on a channel called Chrisf300uk. Although the camera work in places is a little shaky, the overall sound is very good.
