Mark Wiens and I traveled to the city of Rasht and Masouleh in the province of Gilan, which is in northern Iran and along the Caspian Sea.
A very pleasant city, lush and mostly with rainy weather with beautiful views and a variety of delicious food. For our first taste testing, we went to a restaurant called Mohammad Sibil, which prepared Anchovies, white fish, Fesenjan Khotka and Vavishka stew, which are famous and popular dishes of this region and Iranians, which in fact were very tasty.
Vavishka stew is prepared from a combination of minced meat, onion and fried potatoes. It is just wonderful.
Fesenjan stew is one of the most popular dishes in northern Iran and all Iranian people, which is prepared from walnut kernels, meat, pomegranate paste, pepper, salt and onion and it is very tasty.

😨 این چه حرفیه دوست گرامی،چنانکه در ایران خوراکها و دستورهای طبخ فراوانی وجود داره ،با دست خوراک خوردن یکی از اداب زیبای کشورمون محسوب میشه که متاسفانه با ورود مدرنیته از دور خارج شده،و تمام کسب کار سنتی وابسته به اون هم داره از بین میره،البته با دست خوراک خوردن خیلی پروسه طولانی و زیبایی داره ،بعد نشستن سر سفره اول با افتابه و لگن دست مهمان شسته میشد ، و خشک میشد ،و بعد اتمام خوراک هم دستها دوباره شسته و خشک میشد،هر چه وضعیت خونواده بهتر بود ،جنس فلز افتابه و لگن گرانبهاتر و حوله از پارچه لطیفتر و عطر دورن اب هم مرغوب تر بوده،
