@@Another-Address Yeah not sure if I necessarily like these lyrics 😂i would suggest freedom should not consist of the notion I've lost everything so whatever I am free to do what I want. I think a healthier view would be the buddhist principle of non-attachment which is similar to some degree, but is controlled and principled and not a f** it mentality lol. Also living according to your principles regardless of circumstance, whilst cultivating the mental discipline of your own mind to do so, and fostering awareness, to not be swayed/influenced in a manner than negates your personal freedom - is a much better perspective imo just requires a strength in which these song lyrics do not display. Speaking in the realm of the mind anyway, physical freedom requires power which is something different. Less defeatist lol, more proactive. Less slave to the circumstances of life, and more director of your own way of life. You do not need to lose everything to live freely, you can create it for yourself.
