I wonder how many people actually realise that the reason why the UK , US and France are so invested in dominating this area is because of the balfour Agreement in 1919? it wasn't fulfilled until after World War II but basically France was indebted ot the English and the US (and their allies) for liberation. The English in WWI couldn't afford the war so they went cap in hands to the local jewish community with the promise that if they helped financially they would support them getting a sliver of land in the country of faith. Lets ignore the fact they also promised the Irish they would withdraw from Ireland and reneged on that agreement, but the fulfilled the agreement with the Jews and Israel. Then there is the matter of trade, the suez canal and of course.. petrol.. oil.. the triggers for the cold war was because when the power players were chopping up the world - they gave favour to the US and the UK, and the other powers were pushed to the rear as far as benefits go - ie China and USSR. Tempers flared.. and so the allies continue to try and dominate these countries ever since. All i ask of Korea, russia and Iran when they start blowing each other up is that remember please - countries like Australia.. dragged in by the bully boys.. leave ours standing please LOL.
