Why is this surprising to people? Iran is a solid country especially amongst the people. No country is perfect but it's definitely safe. Persian culture is one of the most important and influential in the history of civilization. You don't have to be Iranian to admit that. Iran is the oldest country in the world, with a massively intelligent population, and personally, I have heard the NORTH of Iran is the most beautiful part.

There are many reasons for these views. First, Iran borders countries that are in wars and have unstable governments (Iraq and Afgahnistan). This gives the impression Iran will be like the two countries mentioned, even though its not the case. Second, the government (US government) along with the media paints Iran as a terrorist country!!! This is sad because I haven't many terrorists come from that country.

@@kennethforsythe8182 i don't know man, always American culture was kinda wired to me, despite the fact that life standards in most of western European countries are much better that US i was reading an article which said that a lot of Americans think they are living in the best country in the world which is wired, even Swiss people won't say that (it will become more wired when you look at numbers specially GDP per ca-pita which both PPP and nominal are around sixty thousand bucks which is almost equal with Scandinavians and Switzerland but in almost all indexes these countries are better that US) another thing is that between Americans travelling is not that common( even 60 percent of middle class Iranians have been to a foreign country with almost the weakest passport in the world after Iraq) so probably they get their perspective from world out of Hollywood which isn't the most accurate one...

They truly are very sweet people. To tell you the truth I had a crush on him because he was so sweet. It was one of his qualities that stood out to me the most. Love it. Great Nick! Good to see your perspectives on Iran. Representing the people of Iran and the reality in the country. People just want to have a good peaceful life. That‘s it. Looking forward to see more of your clips from Iran and other countries in the future.
Thank you for the information, is in my to do list
Amazing video. Love how real and down to Earth your vlogs are. Makes us want to go travel the Middle East now. We'll get there some day!

Well, Iran is not in the Middle East I guess, since it's not an Arab country?!

Awesome videos Nick!! Thank you for sharing!
Great !! Thank you for all your information Nick !
When I saw how excited that shop owner was to talk and share the safety and beauty of Iran... my heart lept out my chest. I honestly thought, in that moment, I'd travel there just to buy some shampoo from that guy and support his business. All of the people were very touching, and it made me so sad to think my country hurts these lovely people with sanctions. And what you do, Indigo, is provide a real service to the people of this global community in bridging the gaps politics and propaganda creates. My sincerest gratitude to you for that. Beautiful videos!

Thanks for doing this man! During these horrific times it is very important to show that Iran is minding their own business with good people iliving normal lives like all over the world! Gov isnt their people like the US GOV isnt all of our people.

It's quite a shame. Persian people and culture are beautiful and fascinating.
Fabulous video
I really want to go to Iran because my ex’s family lives there. Her family and I are still close so I wish to visit them soon, maybe mid 2020. It looks like a beautiful country and your video has truly put me at ease.
