iRacing Incidents & Dumb Decisions | Pt. 5 | Wrecks, Crashes, Funny Moments

Here we are, part 5 of my adventures in iRacing! This one is more diverse than previous entries, as I decided to try a few new series for Week 12 of 2023 Season 2.
One thing I've come to notice a pattern of is drivers not talking much, if at all, in the road racing series. Quite a contrast to the chatter, information exchange, and criticism that happens in oval racing.
Also, I'd like to thank all the new subscribers, as well as the non-subscribers who at least give these videos a watch. I was shocked at how many views the previous entries got, and it makes me want to continue making these videos for the foreseeable future. I appreciate all of you! 💖

Good stuff this! I've encountered the same with road racing and usually end up with mostly oval races in my vids. IMSA this season seems to be very popular, and the couple of races I've done there was a lot more talking than in the past. Cool to see though the crashes itself without the voice chat are also popular!

Yeah, I considered sticking to ovals for content, but I love road courses, too, and Spa sure provided a few good crashes!
14:41 Holy crap. What a dog fight lol. Been on iRacing for 2 years and I'll never understand why people push it so hard at the start of these road course races. And it's even in the higher classes too. Seen it in the Nurburgring 24, LeMans, it's insanity. Had a race this week where I didn't even make it past the start line because we (they) just piled it up. I stopped against the wall to hopefully avoid getting collected and here comes this dude hauling ass and just plows into the back of me causing even more wreck. Can't wait to show that one in my next video.

That sounds like quite the clip! XD It seems "ARCA brakes" exist in every series and at nearly every level. That cluster at Spa is probably the most chaos I've personally experienced in a single moment. Four separate wrecks in the span of two turns? You just can't make that stuff up.
