They have a new soul that was supposed to be on the new Bernal Carbon free and can be seen in promo images for that skate as well as on these Gemini boots if you find some of the older promo pics. I think that soul plate will be coming soon.

Nice review. Thought these skates were pretty dope when announced so I'm glad they seem good.

Gawds and Iqon need to make new soul plates for each boot instead of throwing the USD VII soul plate onto every single skate they make.

They have one. It was made for the new Carbon Free but then it was too expensive for the South American markets - you can see it in promo shots of the last free AND Montre has it on these boots in a LOT of the gemini video.

Love you channel. You skate so so excellently man. Wow. I'm 54, getting back into it after a looong break. Just trying to make a decision on what to get. @@philipcook6191 thanks for watching! Take it slowly, VERY slowly and don’t rush to try and relearn everything. It’s a process. The more patient you are, the less likely you are to get injured.

Your skating looked especially confident in these towards the end of the video. Great review!

They felt familiar straight away. I couldn’t find any fault in their performance in that regard.

Creates are some of the best frames to skate flat imo

I’ve seen going one size down from stock on the souls cleans up the gap

4:43 Im still obsessed with the double tongue idea with skates. On my Salomon st70 back then I cut out my tongue off my Salomon grind shoe to have double tongue. I wanted to make sure it matched.

USD sold add on tongues for the classic thrones back in the early 2000s. I still have my set.

I'm on Iqon AG20 for a few weeks now, love them. And yes, USD VII soulplate. Biggest downside on this skate is that crappy buckle, that thing makes me loose it

Sheeesh. Such a great skate to get for free!!! I would love these. Sadly the price is TOO high. (For me)

Great review! When I saw them for the first time my first thought was “no one is gonna buy those”, the B&W ones look cool though.

I’ve got the eu43 ag20 and the eu41-43 Seba soul plate fits much better, there’s just a little gap around the big toe area but it fits the rest of the boot perfectly. The Seba soul is a bit narrower though.

There’s always a catch! Does the Seba plate screw into the boot though or is it clamped on with the UFS bolts?

Anyone skating gawds or iqon the fix for the soul plate is go down one size then it fits perfect

Those soul plates always look like that, I noticed it too. My homie skates Factions & Gawds & he shifts those soul plates between & they always look like that.. I can't stand the look of soft shell or that type skate, it takes all the steez out of your tricks, in my opinion.. Those skates sound dope though, I'm old & comfort is definitely a thing, maybe the main thing..

@@wheelsceneblading word. im actually looking at the compass 80 mm setup. ive had little wheels for as far as i could remember. its pretty sick that theyre ufs too. its time for some draco malfoy rolling!!!!

I love that skate but the price tag is just to much.

I bought them in 44 (my regular shoe size is 43). However, they fucked up my feets. I got blisters on my heels each time I wear them. I tried them in 43, but they were too small for me, so I selected 44 instead. Maybe I should have bought the 43. I might made a mistake.

You're correct, but check the footage from Crowder Power last week.

I like the look of the sleeker/under the radar Ag10 more as well. I’m interested to see how an exposed carbon cuff holds up to impacts over the long term, carbon isn’t known to be the most impact resistant material. That would be an expensive spare part to purchase. Having to buy a new cuff with klarna doesn’t sound ideal

ive had ag20's for couple of months. Can't stand the look of the old carbon soulplates on there. Got Faction stealth plates on order (God, please let them fit!)

@@wheelsceneblading I've skated Bambrick carbons and those I think are flat. I liked em well enough. I did like the look of the OG usd carbon plates... never got to skate em. The bambrick I was loaned had the same plates those have. Personally never loved the look of those as much as the og carbon plate or even Sebas souls.

And that market is 😂
