The Owls kicked off their 2015/16 away days with a trip to Ipswich on Saturday but returned with nothing to show for their toils.
After home wins over Bristol City and Mansfield, Carlos Carvalhal’s side were out to take that impressive pedigree on the road and got off to the ideal start with Ross Wallace firing the visitors in front.
But the Tractor Boys hit back in an instant through Freddie Sears and Tommy Smith’s second half header proved decisive.

Looks like the lads worked hard. Disappointing loss but take heart from the performance.
Looks as if we've signed a class front three, Lucas Joao, Ross Wallace and Marco Matias. Come on you blues!
Would have expected better from Westwood from both those goals.

If he was fully fit he would have probably saved the first one
What was Loovens and Helan doing on the first goal?! I'd like to see Lachman get a game on Wednesday night, see what he's made of. Also maybe play Wildsmith, give Westwood some time to properly recover rather than risking him aggravating it

No I wouldn't risk Dawson in a league game yet. Wildsmith was great against Mansfield and from what I an see he was good today
good game think if wednesday keep playing like this they wont be far out come the final day !! coyb

we don't want faith we want wins.
Westwood clearly playing while injured, not good, no way would he have let these in otherwise even with the shonky defending
Ipswich Town deservedly won that match in my opinion... Looked the more likelier of the 2 teams to score... C'mon u Tractor Boys 🚜
Still have faith we are going to have a great season and don't worry we never win against Ipswich

+Liam Simpson Finally someone who praises us haha, I know the style that McCarthy has us playing isn't the prettiest but it does neutralise a lot of teams... Good luck with your season
Had some decent chances to at least get a draw,fell asleep for the two goals,on to the next game.

Don't think Ipswich are all that and we looked better with the ball, bad defending on both goals.. Lay off Helen the guys a left winger being asked to do a left back job.. Played brilliant against Bristol city

Don't matter if Ipswich don't have the flair you have, you need points to get out of this league, and I'm afraid to say you got none!
