Good feed back, something I will do more on the next videos. One problem we had was the really high revving from the engine on this one.
I have just had my second Midget fully restored. It was a scrapper, but now with a new body shell, doors , wings , boot and bonnet it is a new broom. Once you have eliminated all rust properly, these are very reliable, fun, run around cars. No need to worry about the throttle cable, I once had to drive a Lotus home with a broken clutch cable. Clutch less changes are quite fun once you get the hang of it. Stick with it and enjoy the car.

That’s my thought too.
Note to self: Keep a spare throttle cable in the boot! I broke a throttle cable in my `74 Midget, on the way to a local MG Car Club lunch at the beach. A member ran down to the local bicycle shop to procure a suitable substitute. Worked a treat! Cheers!

We do now have a spare cable in the boot, I didn’t think at the time of trying to get another cable as it was a Sunday. I did ask other Midget owners.
Same colour and condition as mine. There are still a few of us about then!👍

I have seen mainly MGB’s in this yellow, good to see all models.

I have a 76 Midget in the same colour, black sills, owned it since 1987. It's part of the family. Great fun in the summer. Loved the video.
The throttle cable tends to fray on these models , I had three of them and the cables went faulty on all of them 😊

Hopefully my modification will help prevent future problems
