Already has sticky glue, just peel and stick.

I suggest that before you have the screen changed, that you make sure the screen curtain has not been activated. Check with Apple about how to do this.

What is the purpose of the little tab you remove at 4.05 I worked on 2 screens before I saw your video and didn’t see that tab and cut through that flex. But the screens still seem to be working. I think it’s a test point for the techs during manufacturing right? Or will I lose some kind of function now?

I have same problem with I phone x, and half screen not touchable. So give me your advice and approximate budget for repair.

those from iPhone x to 11 you use how many degrees in the separator to remove the rim and then to remove the glass you use the same temperature? thanks for the attention friend

If your separator is calibrated - it is 65 degrees max for LCD (otherwise backlight will start flexing), and 80-85 degrees for OLED. It's the same for the rim, you can't go any higher. There's special red hot blades for melting plastic on the rim, but I find it extra. But, honestly, the come out easily if you don't hurry, let it heat up well, cut the rim in half, so you can pull it away from the screen instead of going only up. The precision knife helps a lot on iPhones from 6 to 8. You just cut the rim out.

New touch screen with cable. Most phone stores can do this cheaply, put new touch on old digitizer.
