I don't know why but I still love the iPhone X design even after 3 years of its release. It still looks beautiful and (unpopular opinion) I prefer this design more than the boxy slab sided iPhone 12 with weird camera bump, maybe just me lol. Tbh most iPhone users that I know not quite attentive with little nuances in the newer gen phone like slightly better camera, little bit faster performance etc, they mostly want an iPhone with new full screen design and X is great value for most peoples. Hence why I don't really recommend peoples to flock with newest iPhone since it's still basically the same ever since the revolutionary iPhone X. My 2 cents ...

When iPhone x came out it was my favourite but I waited a year more before upgrading from my 5s. So I got the XS and hands down I love this phone so much. Got it the day it launched and still works as new.

I just bought an iPhone X and I got it for $400. I definitely feel up to date and not behind the times at all. And I love the screen, the display is actually better than the 12 and 12 pro. Battery life could be better but as long as I pay attention to charge it’s totally fine for every day use. I honestly don’t know why anyone would get the new iPhones. Until they do something else revolutionary, I will stick with the X

And this is exactly why I have not felt the need to upgrade ever since I got my iPhone X. I have the biggest feature they've released in the full screen display. The only thing that would make me consider upgrading is when Apple finally releases a screen with a higher refresh rate than 60hz. That, the camera upgrades and the battery life boost would be a nice trio.

@@s5x056 You could probably get an iPhone X for ~$200, price goes up from there depending on storage size & condition.

iPhone X is the best phone I’ve had to date - heavy usage and great performance that barely slowed down. Holds its own against newer versions.

The 13 just came out, I bought the X. Just a timeless design.

I'm not really a fan of apple phones but when I got my first phone from my father (it was his iPhone X and later handed me down) I was surprised how good it felt when I held the iPhone x on my hand for the first time, with dual speakers and amouled screen with enough battery for my daily use I was hooked but than google introduced pixel 6 pro and I got it with my first income. But the iPhone X will always have a special place in my heart.

@@MarkSpurrell to be honest with you, the iPhone 12 doesn’t feel new to me. They are just rebuilding on the iPhone X design, just by giving it a boxy feel, and new cameras. That is it.

very clear and informative as ever!

As an avid iPhone X user, I would recommend people to do research. My X is great, but absolutely overheats, suffers some slight performance issues and has to be charged 2x a day even after replacing the battery. If you really don’t want to pay that much get the iPhone 11 - you will thank your future self.

My X never overheats and has absolutely never had any performance issue , i think its just u pal . But yeah i have to charge it twice a day

had my X from release until i got the iphone 11pro max, looked and worked like new, just wanted a bigger screen. Huge android fan before the X came out, and when it did and actually looked like the leaks i switched to apple and never turned back.

Bought Google Pixel 4 after watching your rewind video man. And I'm enjoying every second of it.

After 4 years I'm still rocking the X (256gb) and the only thing that's showing a slight bit of age is the battery and it isn't even that bad - still goes for about 1 solid day of medium use. I often find myself looking to upgrade (11, 12, and 13) but why to load into Apps 1 second faster lol?

12/19/21 I still use my iPhone X 256gb. I have put a new battery in it a couple months ago and it holds its charge way better all the way to 1%. It does have its hiccups though. Sometimes it just doesn’t want to connect.

Just to think that a few years ago this was the most coveted product out there is crazy.

My XR is still great value for 95% of what I need from a phone. The newer 13 model is not different enough to upgrade, better to wait till 2022. What my XR doesn't cover is not worth worrying about, since a desktop Mac takes care of bigger screen stuff.

Still using my XS since the month it was released. Looks and feels brand new out of my UAG case. It’s a great phone. Only reason I might upgrade to the 13 Pro Max is storage reasons.

@@bert3566 I have the 64 gig iPhone XS model. I’ve used 63 out of 64. The type of file that basically accounts about 30 gigs out of the 64 gig storage capacity are photos and videos. I have google photos which allows me to backup my photos to the cloud while shooting. However, I shoot both RAW and JPEG, which takes up lots of space.

I’m still using mine since I first got it back in 2017 and still feels like new.

I’ve had mine for about 3 & 1/2 years and it’s been a really solid phone. Unfortunately the battery life is pretty shit now and my charging port no longer works, have to use wireless chargers only. It’s time for an upgrade but the X is probably the best phone I’ve ever had thus far

this analysis makes me love my iphoneX even more, from brand new in 2017 to dark horse in 2021.

Honestly.. i don’t want to upgrade, im still loving it.

Still using mine. Used to have a weird screen issue where the screen would become unresponsive. Went away out of the blue though.

I bought iphone x second hand for around 500$ 1.5 years back and I’m loving it, its snappy at everything it does, great camera, great battery ( for my use case). I still recommend this device to anyone who is looking to buy a phone with a budget.

The iphone mini is a 5.4 display. So its just so great they crammed a flagship in a smaller phone! 💛❤️❤️❤️

Just replaced the battery a week ago after it went down to 70% and it feels like a new iphone! Gonna stick with it for a while 😊

3:09 so that’d mean my iPad mini 5 would be a little laggy occasionally. But I can tolerate occasional lag., just not when apps crash on purpose

I’m still using a X and plan to wait another year before upgrading. Still a great phone! Thanks for the review. 👌🏼

Don't upgrade until they introduce new design, like maybe a highly innovative addition, for example folded? Because srsly the recent designs are not that really worth the upgrade

I’m still using my iPhone X. It still works great four years later. I have no reason to get a newer model. I’ve had to replace the glass screen because my four year old son has chunked it across the room breaking the glass several times. However it takes a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’ !!!

what’s up mark, i am considering this and the s10e, which is better?

My iPhone X started to deteriorate on its 3-4th year. The Bluetooth & Wi-Fi stopped working properly. Then the display stopped working and was forced to replace it. Then Face ID didn’t work. And when I dropped it volume buttons and camera got disconnected. I held off for 3 months for the iPhone 13 and it was worth the wait to stick with an iPhone that was barely working. I got iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The iPhone X is the most beautiful phone ever it’s soo premium and smooth screen is amazing brightness. Face ID is like instant. Battery is good lasts 6-7 hours daily but I never charge my iPhone all the way

Imo the X/XS/XS Max and the 11 Pro/11 Pro Max are the best phones they’ve made. The only thing I don’t like about the 11 pro’s is that satin glass on the back. Still the same design as the X/XS with an extra camera so I let it slide.

Whenever i think of updating my iPhone X to the latest model, I will rewatch the iPhone X advertisement in 2017. It helps me to remember how much I wanted an iPhone X back in 2017.

im using a hand me down iphone 10 from my dad, its been used everyday for around years now and the battery is terrible for example when i got on my schoolbus my phone was at 60% battery, by the time i got home (around 7 minutes later) my phone was at 17%

I turned off the auto HDR toggle in settings. I also make it (HDR) stay on all the time. Sometimes, I manually adjust the lighting on the camera and it still takes great photos for me. iPhone X.

I originally got the iPhone X on the day it was released. Had it for AT&T, but about 1 1/2 years later I got a good deal from T-MOBILE and got the XR, I ended up selling the X. I was due for an upgrade, and needed a new phone, as my XR’s charging port didn’t work anymore and it had some bad scratches on its screen. I was gonna get the 13 but didn’t want the monthly finance fee. Went on eBay, decided to go back to the X, found a 256 GB iPhone X with 90% battery health (was an open box) for $245. I couldn’t be happier with the X. The X has a much better screen than the XR (battery is better on the XR though), but the design on the X is timeless. The screen is just beautiful! Will be keeping this phone a while.

Can you do a rewind for the iPhone 11 pro

The only two reasons I’m upgrading are for storage and camera. This is the best and most reliable phone Apple ever released. It would easily last anyone 5+ years. Excited to be getting the 512gb iPhone 13 Mini (a big jump from my 64gb iPhone X currently on iCloud’s 200gb life support lol) Edit: can we talk about how the XS totally didn’t count as an upgrade lol

Avoid the iPhone X or earlier if you want the iOS 15 features (only on the A12 chip or later, iPhone XS or later): Live Text, Improved Apple Maps, Faster, more private Siri, FaceTime and Spatial Audio & Digital Keys

Unless u don’t update ur system to iOS 14 or even 15 otherwise ur clock speed will goes down dramatically. My iPhone 11 Pro is now on 15.1, sometime can felt stuck too

Had an X for about a month but cannot use it due to OLED and PWM. Have recently upgraded from an SE to 11. If Apple doesn’t bring another decent iPhone with an LCD panel then it’s my last iPhone.

In my opinion I wouldn’t buy one but if I owned one I wouldn’t upgrade it currently. I use an iPhone XR right now.
