they really look nice. But why exactly does a wallpaper now need to be a subscription? Seriously, this is beyond unnecessary and anti-consumer. Sure thing if I want to enjoy the regular updates, but for the love of god, offer a perpetual license for anyone else.

The subscription helps fund the development of our app, as well as pay for the designers and the 2 new packs each week. This is a more predictable and consistent income stream than individual purchases. We are also considering letting users buy individual packs though. And of course, if someone wants to remain a free user, they can. They get 1 free wallpaper per pack in 8K + cloud sync + favourites tab and a lot of other features.

I dropped owning a cell phone altogether for 2 years between the iPhone SE (gen 1) and the 12 mini. I’m with you. I just don’t want to carry something big in my pocket.

Me to, my 12 mini begs for an upgrade, I have a 15 pro… but I’d rather use the 12 mini just because of size

I think the 48mp sensor inside the SE4 makes a lot of sense because then they can go with the "2 cameras in 1" marketing gimmick, as in the 2x crop mode.

@@reggiebuffatYou should consider getting a magsafe battery bank. My dad has the 13 mini and i bought an anker magsafe battery bank for him and he has been happy ever since. He says it provides a grip to hold on the phone too

Nah.. too much hassle. Bigger phone with the battery inside the phone is the way to go..

If it’s lighter and doesn’t deform a suit when you put it in the inside pocket, I would buy that ahead of a Pro, regardless of price. iPhones have got a bit bloated, probably since the 11. The XS and XR form factors were excellent.

To me the smaller chassis of SE 3 and how it feels in the hand was the reason I got it over 13 mini but having a bigger display (especially an oled one) wouldn’t hurt

i hope it comes out looking good cant wait to own one...

I liked the SE smaller size but the battery only lasted about five hours after a couple years use.

Yeah I’m looking forward to the next SE, lately I have been getting that model of phone, I had the 1st and currently using the SE2, but didn’t make it to the SE3 so might just skip it and wait for the SE4. Each time the SE model has been impressive and always a nice upgrade from what I had before at a reasonable price :)

I prefer a sub 6inch screen. My 13mini is perfect, they should have a smaller phone option for people that prefer the smaller form factor. I have just replaced the battery on my min8 so should be good for another 2 years for the minimum, I will keep it going for now.

If it ends up being the 13 mini chassis, I will grab one to use as my work phone.

I would buy this. ita cute, perfect! - i would want it slightly smaller than the base iphone.

@@DysonLifestyleTech youre too kind of a person, I like that. But the design compromise was done so the face ID could be as good as it is. In the next 1 or 2 models, it will vanish and wont be an issue anymore. Im glad they finally went to usb-c though

The 15 Pro is much lighter + the regular 12. There is a new one, and it is the lightest device with a size of 6.1

I dream of a small iphone but with 3 cameras and longer battery life. I missed the telephoto lens since i just switched to iPhone 13 mini from iPhone 11 Pro.

Back in 2021, i remember getting my first iPhone, which was the iPhone SE 2nd gen. It was pretty nice, it ran very well as it had the most powerful chip at the time (or 2nd most. I mean by Iphone chips, not all mobile chips). But I had a few issues with, the 2 biggest being that the phone was very small, and it got very hot.. very hot... I switched back to android after a month (S20 FE 5g), but I want to try iPhone out again soon, this time with a bigger display at least.

Can the action button be used as a home button?

I left apple back in 2019 for the S10e and I luv it. The only way I'd switch back would be a fingerprint sensor. Since I'm in the minority I don't see that happening!

Please make the new SE a mini phone. I bought the 15 and miss the 13 mini so much. I can't handle the 15 with one hand.

The target for this phone is definitely elder people. It's elegant and looks clean and premium but it's still simple with that only camera, regular screen, minimalist design and modest colors. Elder people don't want it too complicated. They just want their phone to look elegant and sober with a good camera and that's it.

I owned both the first generation and 2nd generation se and after having the 2nd generation for 3 years I was done with it. I would never get another se to be honest.

Huh? SE3 is a TERRIBLE buy right now. Dated specs and overpriced. $50 prepaid phones have caught up to it in terms of performance and storage. Please wait for SE4 and don't get ripped off
