Raul J. Gomez if I'm being totally honest, I didn't know the audio on option existed until researching for this video! Syncing my screenshots was always challenging without the audio and now it's soooo much easier 🙌

This was sp helpful! So exciting to do screenrecordings with sound from now on 😁

Note: this does NOT work with FaceTime. This is because FaceTime is a protected call and they don't want people recording the calls. You'd need to get a specific call recording app in order to do that.

everything records are support sound but video and audio cal can't support sound why please reason

Can anyone recommend one that will record video chats via face time or google duo WITH sound. While this does record the calls the sound on the calls disappeared on the video when we watched the video. Any and all help would be appreciated.

I was today years old when I found out that external sounds can also be recorded. 😂😂 Thank you for this video. 💙

Did anyone answer the question or find a work around to record audio also. Audio does not record if you are using FaceTime or possibly anything using the microphone. Please help. Thx

I searched up the same question everywhere. What I found is that once you are FaceTiming someone the audio will automatically not record the other person that you are FaceTiming with. However, if you are watching a video on KZread and you wanted to record it through the screen recorder, surprisingly, the audio will work. Also, when you do hold the bottom to record to turn the mic on that means that you can hear yourself but any audio noise that is coming from your phone will over power your voice if you do decide to talk while screen recording with mic on. I’m assuming there are legalities that may come up to surface if the other person isn’t aware of being recorded so Apple may have kept it automatically turnt off without allowing it to be in our control.

I figured it out! Hold Screen Record for a few seconds and that button will pop up and select it before your FaceTime call. I tried it and I was able to hear audio after I was done with the Facetime call. Hope it helps!

@@escarletvilleda8672 but did it give you option you have to select before recording because I have to select either messenger, gmail, tik tok, photos etc..

Another thing you can do is correct Bluetooth headphones so the audio doesn't play aloud and just record and it will default record audio even with microphone off when you have a Bluetooth headset connected during the duration of the recording. 👍
