The reason the iPhone 7 series is performing so bad is the fault of iOS 11! iOS 11 and even 11.0.3 is by far not good optimized. I bet a test with iOS 10.3.3 would show us a better battery lifetime.

I am watching on an iPhone 8 plus and I must admit that I was really surprised it ranked so low because I’ve been really satisfied with battery performance. I am an heavy user and I used to charge my phone twice and day, but the iPhone 8 plus last all day for me, so I don’t really care how it ranks

@@MzwandileHarmans I used to have a s7 edge as daily driver and I used to keep it at highest resolution, also highest brightness setting (when I was at home) and it did last the whole day on. 14 hours and so, sometimes I had to charge it in the middle of the day, but most of the times nah, I do have friends with 8 or 8 plus and their phones last nowhere nearby my s7 edge. Also Apple don't add better or larger batteries in their iPhones or that iPhone would be way more expensive. No way a 2017 flagship has 1800 mAh!!! That's a bullshit for 1000 dollars! Also they dry batteries faster than a petrol-powered car. That's just lame by Apple. I'm not going to hate on Apple, but my friend's iPhone X does suck when it comes to battery drain, I'm running a s9+ as daily driver with 3500 mAh and just yesterday it did last around... 15 hours.

Dudee, 1 hour is too much??? I watch like at least 3 hours everyday 😂😭

Seriously?? Mine gets about 2.5 hrs screen time on time if I'm lucky! As I type I am on 42% with 1 hr 43 mins. All my friends who have iPhones get 5+ screen time a day.

recently got my battery changed and i am getting 6+ hours of screen on time now too, about 24 hours of normal use without charging s7 edge still an amazing phone and samsung was so kind to change the battery when they fixed a screen issue (all for free bc the warranty is 2 years not 1 like apple)

I can attest to the S8+. I get 8 hours SOT daily with medium use. Sometimes 9 hours. Of course I disabled all the bloatware/bixby and features I don't use.

Charlie Zo plus model? Because the regular model important really have the grewatest battery life, that's the way it works, after a certain amount of usage and updates, that smaller battery doesn't really help, because it just drains faster. Unfortunately that is the way it works and the way it will probably work for the iPhone 8 not the 8+ over time.

I have an iPhone 8 Plus and my screen on time today was 5 hours and 6 minuets and it was on 49 percent! I think that’s pretty impressive. All I did was social media ( Instagram Snapchat and reddit) I whatched some KZread and browsed the internet on safari for nearly 2. About 90 percent of this usage was on my mobile data connection.

The Nokia 3800 or something like that Had the best Batterie Ever 😂👌

IPhone 7 Plus has A10 fusion chip and the iPhone 8 and 8 plus have A11 fusion chip, which manages battery better. Also the iPhone 7 Plus has been used for a while

Hey you should try charging the iPhone 7/ 7plus with the 29Watts Mac charger usb c lightning and see if it is also fast charging cspable. Please do this test.
