I made an iPhone SE2020 with a gold iPhone 8 shell, just to make it nostalgic🥺
I still have my iPhone 8 I bought brand new. It still works and I use it everyday with no problems or battery lag amazingly. Probably going to "upgrade" soon to the iPhone 13 or iPhone 14 though.

I have a 12 pro max, and would go for a a 8, but its the updates that worry me. A 5 year old iphone is still powerful as a current mid range phone from samsung or similar.

I got an iPhone 8 for $50. It’s great!! I’m gonna get a higher capacity battery installed and get a battery case just to help. Also I carry around a proper 10k mah battery pack so I’m good. Only wish I had a wireless charger laying around. Can’t wait to try that feature

Nice video. What's not to like about a Nirvana t-shirt too. Was thinking about an 8 in Australia ($199Au), but I think I will buy a budget 5G device. The camera isn't important to me, but I will try to get a 5G with at least one decent main shooter as you wisely suggest. Ciao.

I would get a iPhone SE 2 and it would be more powerful and newer so it will last longer that’s the same price

Unless you care about software upgrades and accepting the fact that this phone officially will no longer get iOS17, the iPhone 8 is still a good phone to get for the price that it is now, especially if you're slowly getting into the Apple Ecosystem. This is currently my back up phone and I do less things on it except for the major essentials -- calls, texts, email, and when needed, GPS via Apple CarPlay. It's about time to start minimalizing my phone use.

When I found out my 8 Plus wasn’t getting iOS 17, I upgraded to the SE 2020

At least with the SE2020, your muscle memory is still intact. You wouldn't need to learn a new form factor. You'd still got Touch ID. Despite your 8 Plus not getting iOS 17, you can still use it as a back up phone, or something else like an iPod, dash cam, voice recorder, media consumption, etc. That way, your SE battery life can last longer.
Iphone 8 is basically iphone 7 done right yeah that iphone is a beast

iPhone 8 have more newer features than iPhone 7. iPhone 8 is basically an iPhone SE Second generation which is basically an iPhone SE third generation. the era of iPhone 7 have gone.

And iPhone SE 2nd gen is an iPhone 8 that’s done right especially the camera, it can support smart hdr through a newer chipset but never on the 8. It is an iPhone 8 without vulnerability flaws and with a powerful Neural Engine features

It’s about 6 years that all new processors are useless for people that simply use phone for normal everyday thing. Why people buy them it’s a mistery

I am sick of people wanting a million cameras but they dont do anything with those cameras except picture s of like food and shit. The only people who have thr right to complain about one lens are professionals who actually do something with them other leneses.
