I still use a 6s. It’s a great phone even in 2022..and I LOVE having a headphone jack. Its 4K camera still holds up well too. 6s is such a legend. ❤️

I upgraded my 7+ for the 12 pro max and i love it! My 7+ was really laggy and slow, it kept crashing and I had to charge my phone every 4 hours. And i am very happy with the upgrade

My answer is iPhone 8 since it will be the last out of the 3 to lose updates

this is exactly why people who mock apple phones for being uselessly ubiquituos and overpriced are fucking stupid lmfao. my samsung phone from 2015 died by 2018, my lg phone lasted a year, yet my ipod touch from 2008 still works to date. and my iphone 6 works just about fine, too

What will make me pick the 8 is simply the fast charging and true tone display. Both refurbished fit easily in my budget but that true tone display does make a difference, saw it irl. Also the product red iphone 8 is GORGEOUS! Looks like a ferrari red

I kinda knew just by having the 6s and later the 7 Plus, that it wouldn’t be worth buying also software wise. I didn’t even think it would get iOS 14. I have friends who had the 8 while I had the 7 and the 8 was slightly better and had wireless charging too. Awesome and very helpful video for a lot of people 👌🏼

Switched from the 8 to the 11 last year best choice I ever made but the iPhone 8 is still amazing in 2021 ❤️

I'm planning to shift to Apple from Android, so I want to have an experience with the UI and such. So I decided to go for the 6S, I still use a 3.5mm earphone and I kind of feel the 6S as iconic (in my mind at least) and I got a pretty good deal. Planning to use it for 1.5 years, then may be pass it on to my young cousin if he's interested.

Regarding buying older iPhones instead of the latest: I gave my old iPhone 7 to my mother and got myself an iPhone XR, which is a great device for uni stuff, plus the iPad (2020).

I haven’t watched the video yet but I’m 98% sure that the iPhone 8 is the best one out of these three because it has a lot of features most other newer iPhones these days have. It’s got wireless charging, a fast chip, an amazing camera and will be getting longer software support than the 7 and 6s. The 8 might be a little more expensive than the 7 but I think that’s worth it. But now, onto the video 👀

If you are on a bigger budget then I would recommend the IPhone SE 2020 at it has the same size screen, same screen with home button, more powerful A13 Bionic chip & longer software support

Remo Koch it would make a difference. But I agree that newer OS versions usually impact battery life in a negative way. I kept my 6s Plus on 12.4 and got the perfect jailbroken setup. I get 10-12 screen on time and last 2 days (the rest is standby) +BT radio on all time time for my Apple Watch and BT headphones. I replaced the battery for a 3400mah one. You might be able to find a higher capacity battery for the 7, but I would invest into a new phone at that point

Hi Brandon, My current phone is 6s with 73% battery health. Phone has become slower I think to avoid repetitive unexpected shutdowns. So I ordered 12 pro and it arrived. I observed during boot up apple symbol is Flickering initially and then displaying consistently and then the phone display is turned on properly. It’s still in return window. I am thinking of 2 options. 1. To return in the 14 day window and ask Apple to send replacement 12 pro phone. 2. To ask for a refund and wait till 13 is launched this year in September and buy 13 then Could you please suggest. Your advice would be highly appreciated. Thank you

Great video. In some iphone 6s, when it is in sleep mode, the camera app appears in the Locked Screen after the Home button is pressed. The camera can then be accessed. But when my iphone 6s is in sleep mode, the camera is not showing up in the Locked Screen after the Home button is pressed. I have to press the Home button again to get out of the Locked Screen and see all the apps including the Camera. I cant figure out a way to put it in the Locked Screen so that I can access the camera in the Locked Screen. Also, do i have to go to the Settings app every time i have to change the camera settings. Pls help. Thanks

Also, another thing to note is that as u go up from 6s to 7 to 8, the phones support more LTE bands which means better coverage and speeds. 8 also supports Carrier Aggregation which means u can use multiple bands at once for higher cellular speeds. For example, with T-Mobile, t mobile uses band 2,4,5,12,66,71. The iPhone 6s and 7 don't support band 66 or band 71, and also no carrier aggregation. the iphone 8 supports 66 and carrier aggregation but no 71. Generally in terms of modems all of them r pretty outdated, but 8 is better than 6s and 7.

Switched from iPhone 7 to iPhone 12 a few weeks ago

On my iPhone 8 the camera intermittently works. Any ideas on why that is and I’ve tried resetting my phone and all that jazz and I really don’t want to replace the camera so any help is greatly appreciated!

Also there is batterygate on the 6 where there has been issue with the battery. With the 7 there been the issue with the connections between the cellphone chip and the board where everything works but not being able to make cell calls from the phone if dropped to hard or multiple times. My old phone was two iPhone 7 with one to replace to other due to this and upgraded to the 12 mini when the replacement 7 also lost ability to make cellular calls

Went from the 7 to 12 when it game out and it’s so nice I made my 7 so slow by playing a bunch of Fortnite on it when it was popular

That doesn’t make it slow. I got a used iPhone 8 from my aunt in early 2020 and I played fortnite on it until June 2020 and that didn’t make my phone any slower at all.

In Denmark they still sell the 7, 8 and a few sells the 6S. However they almost retail at the same price of an SE 2nd gen...

I can’t figure out why the image stabilization for videos is terrible on my iPhone 8 compared to my iPhone 7. I can’t find any setting so I’m assuming it’s automatic? I could literally hop up and down or walk shooting a video on my iPhone 7 and the video was solid and steady but not so with my eight for some reason

0:56 - You can actually tell which one is the 6s. Notice how the 6s has a smaller front speaker. It’s harder to tell the 7 and 8 apart tho.

2 years with iphone 6 plus and i love my phone but its just the battery sucks even after replacing it it still last for two hours !!! I want to upgrade but i love my phone !!

I have iPhone 6S. Totally great, my only problem is running out of storage coz mine is 16GB. Otherwise it’s performing perfectly.

FYI, as of Jan.4, 2023, my 6s is running Software Version 15.7.2. I replaced the battery last year. I'm not a gamer or much of a photographer, so I can say that the phone is quite adequate for my daily use.

The haptic feedback on the 7 and 8 😏😏

Both the 11 and XR are basically the same phone, the only real difference is the 11 will have 1 more year of a software update and the camera is much better than the XR. The XR still has a good camera don’t get me wrong but if you think the extra $100 is worth it for the better camera and the 1 more year of software update then get the 11. If not get the XR it’s still a great phone

I personally would prefer a 6S on IOS 12 or 13. It all depends on what you want from a device. I am currently on a 16GB 6+ that I got in 2021 (It is now 2022) and other than the fact that it is slow and has low storage I am ok with it. Also missing 3D Touch even though I have never owned a device with it.

Just get the XR if possible!!! I just purchased the XR for $349 and love it.

@@BrandonButchYeah about 4 -5 weeks ago ? I actually watched it right after I got it to make myself feel better about the purchase. I had debated on the 11 pro and for the money I just couldn’t go wrong with the XR. I paid $349, so I figured I got a decent deal. Solid channel brother!

Discontinued last May and dropped from iOS 16, alongside the 6s and 7.

I’m an iPhone 6s Plus user and it’s still going strong but screen is lagging now

My mom has the 8 but now she has the 11 but I was not happy with the 8 that she offers to me the battery was so bad so I decided to buy the 8 plus and I was happy because the battery is so much better

I would go for iphone se 2020, you can get it with 100$ more over iphone 8 and you can keep that phone for 4 more years without a problem.

I’m on a 6. Have mostly been angling for a 6s bc I love my headphone jack and it can update to iOS 14 and 15 (I’m on 12). Considering abandoning the jack for better battery though 😪 Kinda convinced after this

I suspect if the 6s doesn’t get iOS 15. He will probably make an updated comparison next year in 2022 but with the 7,8 and SE 2nd Generation and he probably will discuss which to buy.

@@Jedidiah_ i wouldnt say that, because usually it from 100% to 99% it usually takes months otherwise i would go to apple and ask for a free battery, when u got my replacement iphone 7 which was never used was at 98% battery health with 0 cycles, then i got back to the apple store and they gave me a new iphone
