Just curious how much this fix costs, is it worth it to get an iPhone 6S fixed?

yes its depend on individual who likes what they have

When you see a low cost device being fixed, it's not because the customer wants the device fixed, it's because data recovery is usually involved. Repair cost exceeds price of the device by many folds.

I just love seeing how happy you are when you successfully fix something! Your happiness is so infectious I can’t help but feel it as well.
the enthusiastic "yes" is such a great feeling and something I always do when I fix something, hence the reason I decided to become an amplifier technician. as always, such entertaining videos! keep em coming! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
I really appreciate that you not only narrate *what* you do, but you also explain *why* you do it. This makes your content of superior value.
I was in the LA area about six months ago, and I saw your shop on my google maps when I was heading to a job. I didn't have time to pay a visit but man! Did I want to! Great repair videos! I became an essential part of my shop thanks to what I learned from this channel alone.
I just discovered your videos a couple weeks ago. Great stuff! I'm a complete amateur at this and love it. You have taught me so much already. Thank you for doing this. Subscribed.
Amazing as always, love watching you work.
I'm just gonna say you are a beast at micro work and figuring the problem makes them other guys look like they can't work on devices
New to your channel and I have to say what you do is amazing. Clearly you have years of experience. Right now I'm at the point of saying that if you cannot repair an item it is unrepairable!
Wonderful job, keep doing the good work. Love your repairs
I really admire your skills and professionalism
Great job. Amazing how valuable that thermal camera is.

I was missing seeing you fix phones :) Good job
It's taken me a long time to realize how hard it is to solder this small components. I took apart my ASUS laptop and took a good look at the components. My hands would shake to much to do this work.

Great video.. so you didn’t replace that component and the phone works normally? I am curious about that
Great rework techniques 😉wish I had half the Technical understanding. I can solder we’ll rework stuff with legs that BGA stuff scares me ☺️I admit

Amazing
This chip is sooo small… Respect.
Great job 👏 How much did u charge to fix that 6s ? Was it worth it to fix it or just get a iPhone 7 Plus from eBay or from Facebook market place
Yes with the right tools then you can repair so much instead of replacing or throwing away
@ccreutzig

I believe it's mostly his skill, the tools aren't that unusual.
When you remove those shields do you have to replace them?
yeah that smile,
Woooow you are goooood 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Awesome
Alex, I was wondering about the section of shield that you had to remove in pieces. Did you add something back in its place? If so, what did you use?
@rraygen
2 жыл бұрын
I asked myself the same. Is it worth to put / solder back all the removed shields, or is it enough to patch it with some aluminium tape and kapton tape maybe?
@cleitonfelipe2092
2 жыл бұрын
The shields are for reduced interference, either caused or received. No need to put them back again, it's just for some regulation bullshit.
Very super Thanku
And the short is gone.hahaha good one. The job is done
i want one of those retirement chips :)
I see some one use compress air on the component to freeze it and what ever de-freeze would be the short, idk how well that work or if it even reliable
Good
5:28 where did that little capacitor come from? wasn't there in the previous shot
nice investigation, enjoyed this one
At what temprature are you using hot air?
Awesume. You almost 99% of devices just by monitoring via thermal cam and it is working most of the time
What does the tristar chip do?
Came in for repair
Any chance you could replace a battery and charging port on a 4th gen iPad? I have the knowledge and skill but my hands just are not as steady as they used to be.
Are you using them oscilloscopes?
Can you make a vedieo about changing LGA 1200 cpu socket on mother board with hot air 🙂🙂🙂
You should use a stand for thermal cam.
