The black colour on the 12 and 13 are similar. Apple stopped using Slate Black due to the paint chipping away very easily

Love the mix of content. I have a pixel 6a but have owned a iPhone 5s, mini, 6s. They are fun phones wouldn't mind trying a new one.

The iPhone SE second generation 2020 also has less than a 2000 mA hour battery and it came out eight years after the iPhone 5!

When I first had a phone starting in 6th grade (mid-late 2017) I had an iPhone 5 until 8th Grade. In 9th grade (late 2020) I upgraded to the iPhone 6 and had it until I finished 10th grade when I upgraded to the iPhone 8 (mid 2022). Currently, I have an iPhone 13 and I had that phone since February 2023, and it's way better than the phones I have before since it is great at running Minecraft and Roblox!

I used my iphone 5 from launch all the way up to the end of 2018. It outlived an Otterbox defender lol. That little thing was such a tank.

I hope apple bring back the slate/black color to the iPhone 15 series! 😍❤

why?? you shouldn't. I own an iPhone 5s and NOTHING is supported at all. Wifi is a total pain as it kicks you out, literally nothing works well. Do not downgrade. IPhone 12 mini is way better

works great as a minimalistic phone, I’m also doing that, I have my Iphone Xr turned off and then my iphone 5 with the essential stuff like gps or iMessages, great to deal with phone addiction 🙂

go for something a bit better tbh. the 5 has a 32bit processor which means this phone has been fully dropped app support in all regards.

Nice very light and small phone for music / books / VLC shows for traveling (or extra hours of traveling) on planes

This was my very first I phone! I remember being so proud and thinking I was all of that!😃

Just booted up the 5S. The input (like typing and scrolling) interface is so smooth. It works so well, and feels tiny in the hands nowadays.

yes some features are not available though . I have an iPhone 5 and I would not recommend you to buy it but since it's only for TikTok you can buy it but don't forget it is very slow .

cool video. I must disagree on one thing tho. When the iphone 6 came out... the 5 still felt fresh. People liked the larger screen but DIDN'T love the 6/6S soap-bar, bubular shape. The 5 had/has a more cutting edge design. The 6 feels more dated today than its immediate predecessors (to these eyes anyway.) Consider that from the 12 to the 15, all recent apple phones borrow the iphone 5 design language.

I don't think this iPhone is worth it anymore. I've always wanted this SO BAD back in 2015, though! Obviously i wouldn't recommend buying. However, if you want your life very simple and you like old technology, get it. I would recommend at least an iPhone 6s. That would be the lowest i would go.

I will admit it’s a bit sluggish but make sure you get the 5s and not the 5. iOS 12 (latest version for 5s) is just modern enough to make it viable to use. You can use AirPods, Apple Music, text, call, take pictures (low quality), use Snapchat, watch tik tok. It’s not perfect but it’s decent just know that not all apps support iOS 12. It’s also like 20$ to buy one on eBay just make sure to not buy an iCloud locked one.
