Great comparison, shows the different strength of both! One thing I would suggest is zooming in on the high MP photos when comparing since it's kinda hard to see 50MP of detail on KZread (even at 4k) and I feel like being able to see the details is the whole point of the high res modes.

I'm using s23 for couple of weeks now. My first ever falgship, man this phone is too great for me. Best camera, Best display, Best battery. S23 is more than enough for majority of people. It is so good and worth the money. Consider buying 256GB above variants.

I agree! Neither of them should have any lens flare. Apple and Samsung have gotten too comfortable with charging $1000+ for phones with lots of problems!

Very informative, thanks for video. I prefer most results from iPhone, but I would prefer to have Samsung because I like One UI very much. I will wait for S24. Big problem of S23 (that I also have on S20 FE) is lack of rear lens switching during recording, something that you mentioned (thanks for testing that, usability is just as important as quality) and is also missing on iPhone 13 Pro Max that my girlfriend got. Some time ago I've played around with Huawei P60 Pro and found out it has superior camera and it had 4k60 switching, but lack of GApps is killing this choice for me.

Sorry, I know it's not part of this video but have you tested the battery of the iPhone 15 and 15 plus to find out what the real difference in hours of use is between the two? Is the 15 plus too big in the hand or do you prefer the normal 15?

Is your HDR Dolby Vision ON in the iPhone Camera settings? It looks like you might be recording in HDR with the iPhone and SDR with the Galaxy, which might be why the iPhone's selfie cam videos look overexposed when edited and uploaded onto KZread as SDR videos.

Coolio. For the record, you can take Portrait mode photos with Night mode on iPhone since you can turn literally any photo of a person into a Portrait mode photo after the fact.@@LoverOfTech

On some of the videos the Samsung looked a little over exposed and washed out, plus your skin had a magenta tinge to it

I use a The 14 plus,tbh That samsung is king. Id go for that 15 plus though if I were to upgrade. I just like that 2x zoom and portrait mode

can you tell me difference between 12mp and 50mp camera in s23 like which one to use and is the difference between them

A BIG factor is the High Bitrate recording mode on the Samsung. Consider that! It makes the image quality at least 2 times better and makes for many more possibilities in editing due to the 10 bit.

Stick with Samsung

As a Samsung user, I rather the Iphone 15 cameras. I just bought a S23 because it's cheaper than an Iphone in Brazil and gives really good features like 120hz fresh rate, 3 really good cameras and good performance as well. However, the difference between price over here it's quite bizarre to be honest. That's why I still using a Samsung mobile. But one day, I intend to swap for an Iphone and try a new software nd features.

im watching in a validated pantone display, both in details are good except Samsung has too much lightlight and iphone has too much color saturation. however the drawback on Samsung can be easily fixed with simple software. but for too much saturated color you cant not reverse it back to natural since the recording software control how saturate the color to use is dynamic. both are phone cameras which are not professional cameras. however, Samsung show the real of what their camera see by not optimizing what it see too much. you can use pro video mode in samsung you'll see how bad/good phone cameras recording are

Selfie: the iPhone15 looks better. You look flat and dull on the s23. The noise cancellation on the iPhone 15 doesn't compare to the s23. We can hear the whole world around you with iPhone... Don't think that's the desired result. On the regular cameras, the s23 is easily the better cameras, most of the time. The audio quality from the s23 blows away the iPhone 15. You sound like you are in a room and a bit far away from the microphone with the iPhone 15. Ultra wide looks pretty poor on both phones. Not sure how that compares with pixel 7. Of course the pixel 8 is out in a few days. And the s24 is out in 5 months or so. Not seen the value of the iPhone 15.

A very successful comparison, thank you! There's not a big difference between the two devices, but if I gave the iPhone 15 10 points in camera, I think I would give the S23 9.2 points 😅

That why I forgot S23 is more realstic then that is just that youtube decrease the 4k quality downward. If you were to display on a 4k/8k smart tv using dex or smart view, you will see a much deeper realstic crisp 4k video not involve with youtube, just play it from your photo mode.

0:30 HDR no S23 é melhor 1:20 Estabilização superior no Iphone, porém HDR ainda é melhor no S23 2:30 O Modo retrato é muito bom em ambos aparelhos, mas no Iphone se nota uma leve granulação ao redor da pessoa 2:47 o áudio no S23 é ligeiramente pior, mas isso por conta do cancelamento de ruído que é excelente. 3:50 Iphone é o melhor em gravação, estabilização melhor e o S23 apresente leves trepidações ao filmar como "engasgos". Já o iPhone tem um movimento fluido e agradável na filmagem . 14:00 a noite o iPhone é melhor em algumas cenas e o S23 em outras. O que vejo são dois aparelhos muito próximos em configurações, teria ambos sem problema algum.

O maior problema da Samsung é a cor da pele e o HDR forçado em algumas situações. A pele dele ficou azulada na maior parte do tempo, é muito estranho. Ninguém ao vivo tem a pele “azulada” como ficou ali. Achei engraçado também as fotos noturnas, já usei muitos iPhones e consigo resultados bem melhores do que ele fez ali. No geral os dois são parecidos, mas a Apple consegue manter um resultado constante, a Samsung não mantém um padrão de cor, luz ou temperatura.

Ive always been a Samsung guy. When i got the S23 plus I absolutely did not like the camera and how the pictures were coming out. Its ashamed they put the better cameras on the Ultra. Traded it in for a Iphone 14 pro. Pictures are waaaay better looking.

Why should I spend all that money and yet I feel and see the video in vey contrasty way and saturated one all the time specially in iPhone video too much for me , I’m using 13 pro max but I’m seeing a lot of mobile cameras on KZread channels, and for examples the Google Pixel camera is very good, or I’ll buy a smart phone under 400 US dollar and a proper camera system if I’m uploading too much on internet…….

Iphone give u close to natural colors whereas s23 try white everything for some reason which give it a washed out look. Maybe its because of 8bit display.

Instead, Reviewers should use one Tripod fixed on the ground and let the phones take turns in taking a still object like a building or a tree

é q vai um poco de gosto né, o a linha S tem uma cor bem mais vivas , entretanto o iphone consegue retratar mais as cores q a gente ve naturalmente, eu particularmente achei o iphone 15 um pouco melhor em cameras, mas n é em todos os casos, tem vários casos q o s23 consegue ser superior, em em todos os casos q envolve zoom, o s23 tem uma clara vantagem.@@carlosferreira4225

iPhone has always been the least appealing phone to me. Im not saying its bad, but I dont understand the infatuation some people have. It's like they look down on you if you dont have one, pretty ridiculous if you identify yourself by phone brand.
