It's been 4 days since I'm using my 15PM and I am struggling to finish my battery by night so that I can keep it to charge full night to activate adaptive charging. It needs 5+ hours of charging in a similar patterned time. In a nutshell battery is just brilliant and coming from past 8 year android, iOS is just perfect

It was a great review Nick. I think upgrading from 14 pm to 15 pm is good if you consider 15pm battery health in the upcoming months. It might give a opinion which phone's battery health is great and how it degrades over the months. For me my 14 pm is already at 96 battery health in 3 months span. I might think of upgrading because of it. But it still give me 7 to 9 hours of screen time daily on social media apps. Make sure to give your opinion about it Nick.

I’m loving my iPhone 15 pro max battery life took it off the charger today at 6am yesterday and as of writing this comment it’s 1 am the next day and I have 15 percent battery life with no low power mode being used with 7hr 41mins screen on time daily. Definitely worth buying if your on the fence with a 11, or 12 not sure about the 14 and 13 models but definitely anything from 12 and lower upgrade you’ll love the phone and the battery. 5 more days would make a full month since I had the iPhone 15 pro MAX.

I have the 15 pro max and it’s absolutely amazing already since last charge was 6:57 am and it’s almost 4:57 pm my time a total of nonstop use and my battery life is 40 percent so 10 hours I’ve used it and that left of percentage I say that ain’t bad

Apparently the Worst thing you can do is charge overnight when you are sleeping - Apple staff told me to charge from 0-100 in the day time and not to leave it on 100 plugged in for too long .. just a tip 👌🏻 And I’ve found it actually has helped over a few years to keep my battery health up 👍🏻😁

So why did they made Standby mode? Best way to charge is 25w adapter from Samsung once in two days... But charging it on 15w on a magsafe every night is also not a problem.. The problem is charging it wireless in your car, it's overheating the battery and that's destroying the battery way faster... Example ; my 13 pro max was still 100% at 16 months and the 14 pro max also 100% at 12 months before i both sold them.. Only charge the phone under 20%..

The screen on time showing 5 hours and 34 mins at 8:52 mark of the video is the exact screen on time with 21% battery remaining, graph is showing exact usage from when the phone was off the charge, so 9 hours of SOT likely won't be possible and is wrong measurement with only 21% remaining, screen time page isn't the way to accurately measure total SOT, you need to add the graphs from the time the phone was off the charge so based on your test total SOT was around 7 hours.

do you think there will be any battery updates for the 15 pro max ios 17.2.1? as it was released just 3 months ago apple can probably improve the battery stability like older versions thanks for your reply

I was really impressed with the battery life on the 13 PM, so I decided to give the 15 Pro a try due to its smaller size. However, I’ve noticed some conflicting battery test reports from various KZread channels. Just got the 15 PM, coming from the 13 PM. Excited to see how it performs!

@@Tcsgsd it’s terrible lol. I have had the 15pro max since September. It’s December now. The battery has been bad since the first day I got it. It drains really quickly. For context I was at 21% 10 minutes ago. Now at 18%. I recommend getting a 13 pro max instead, it’s the best battery. Also please stop updating to the newest iOS software! There are just more glitches and bugs and malware’s when you keep updating and your battery even drains faster. Apple lies out their ass.

Plz make 1 with the 15 or the 15 pro. Really appreciate it!!!

Late comment, I know. But I've been interested in this phone lately and wondering how the battery performs. Thanks for the video but I want to let you know that the screen time page you're looking at actually combines your screen usage of all your apple devices under the same apple id unless you tap on "Devices" and choose one from there. But the most accurate method to know the screen on time you get from a single charge is by using the Battery page in settings. Just add up all the dark blue bars in the activity graph under "Last 24 Hours". Or much easier just go to "Last 10 Days" and see how much hours it yields from the corresponding battery usage bars. From this video you got about 7 hour and a half of SOT going from 100% to 1%.

What a nice review, thanks. I am also in a dilemma btw 15 pro and 15 pro max. 15 pro is quite usefull dimensions but i read and saw many bad reviews about its battery performance.

How long would the pixel 8 pro have lasted in the same test

It is interesting to see a comparison of the discharge after different charging currents. for example a unit 20 W, 5 W, 1 W. Compare how phones are discharged after them. Perhaps you need to do several discharges, they say the smartphone lasts longer when charging with a small current

this will take a long long time. I use XR for 4 yrs. always use 10W charging, Normal use, social, YT, no game. battery health is 76%.

Oh 🙈, it’s so painful to see an iPhone staying at 1%. I want to charge it immediately 🙀, but it’s yours. I always use the 80% Charging possibility und drain it most times not under 30% because I want to use my 15 Pro Max for a long term, maybe 4 or 5 years I think, without taking a new battery if possible. But I think maybe after 2,5 or three years I have to. Great video 😊👍

What case is that?

On my 15 pro max I charge to 90 odd % and it remains good and then I recharge at 30% .. I notice sometimes the battery drains faster than other times...I get overconcerned when I have a night out and ensure I have at least 80% if I am stepping out but that is just my nature. Previously I had the 14 pro and if I go for a night out around 7pm-8pm I would expect it to reach low battery status for sure by 11pm.

in my day to day, this phone easily gets through 12+ hours of usage with at least 30/40 percent remaining, although i mainly just use social media and web browsing and that boring stuff and don’t play games

If you turn off wifi and Bluetooth when you are on data so it’s not using them and turn off location unless u using the maps it saves a lot of battery/

Im so disappointed in my 15 pros battery life, my 11 pro max would last me 10 hours screen on time when in first got it in 2019 and 7-8 hours by time I decided to upgrade as the battery health was 74%. I decided to get the smaller pro this time as I wasn’t feeling the big phone life anymore and I’m only getting 6-7 hours on a full charge and it isn’t making it through my whole day. With my 11 pro max I could go 2 days without a charge sometimes but with this new one ain’t no chance. I’m not a heavy user either no games or anything I honestly just use Snapchat KZread and the camera app. The phones great tho in terms of performance.

I got the 15 pro max in blue titanium, everything is superb coming from an iphone 8...

I did three days with AOD off, 40% brightness, 60 Hz, no widgets and 4 hours screen time each day.. I do 1,5 day witch all these thing enabled and max settings..

My ip15pm is usually about 50% around 12 hr mark on the average day with my usual usage like calls, internet, watching videos, messaging. Idk if that’s good but when i dont use it much, it lasts about a day and a half or 2 before i need to charge it (20%)

Though battery health is already at 99% after a month of getting it; i don’t drain the battery, i don’t let it go below 20%, i try to sometimes fully charge it and sometimes don’t let it go to 100% but after a little more than a month, it counted 30 charging cycles and battery health still went down 1%, so for me the degrading of battery health is inevitable 🤷🏻‍♀️

My 15 pro max, is down to 100% - 70% in 3hrs! Is this good on normal usage?? Or I just consider to service it!!?😢

hello, for 5 days it shows me on screen off 0 minutes 2 or 3 minutes only on the first day it shows reality when I took it out of the box, but after that it shows me the hours of the screen on but the hours that have passed with the screen off show 2 -3 minutes, when in fact he sat with the screen off for hours. what's the problem?on android it shows me, for example, how much I used it with the screen on for 2 hours today, and with the screen off 10h55, but on the iphone it shows 1 minute of the screen off, which is impossible , thank you!

That is a crazy amount of battery life I have the s23 ultra and I cannot kill this thing in a day it's annoying actually that I can't kill it in a day but this battery test makes me want to jump back into iPhone

The 15pm is definitely strong in battery life my 14pm still goes hard I use light mode in the day 5g at work even keep on the aod auto brightness stays on as well I use WiFi at home and dark mode turns on at 5pm but these pro max batteries are fantastic
