@@badrbcg5394The 12 is super powerful so it’s likely they cut of the x,8 because of the less powerful neural engine which was fraction of the xs. The 12 with a14 chip is infinitely more powerful than the a12 with it being a significant gap to its predecessor the a13

I own one and really happy with it. The best thing about buying the pro max models is that we get extra 1-1.5 years of decent battery life. Would probably keep it for another 1-2 years.

I’ve got the regular size and whilst for the first 6 months to a year the battery was amazing. Approaching 3 years now and I’m charging it 2-3 times a day which isn’t the worst but definitely not ideal for when I go out.

Iphone 12 Pro Max is still a keeper for me.

Just got battery replacement after 2 and half years and man battery way better , gonna rock this phone until 2025 september

120hz, brighter screen, A15, 3x zoom, macro and much better battery life on the 13PM. Dynamic Island, Always On, more than double the brightness at 2000 nits vs 800, A16, 48MP main lens, much better stabilisation on the 14PM. Now the light titanium build, action button, 5x zoom, USB-C and more on the 15PM and a very refined main camera. The 12 Pro Max is fine but I wouldn’t say 3 generations of upgrades are insignificant.

I passed my old one of these down to my Mum and she loves it - I doubt she’ll need to upgrade for many years to come. 12 Pro Max was a very solid entry

Been sticking with my 12 Pro Max for nearly 3 years now but finally ordered a 15 Pro Max, mainly because usb-c and I’ve been tempted by 120hz, dynamic island and camera upgrades for a while now. But yeah if you’re a casual user content with sticking with a decent phone I’m sure the 12 will serve you for a while longer.

I just got the battery replaced on mines from 77% back to 100%. Works perfectly fine and will keep using it until the iPhone 17 or 18 Ultra

I'm still using the iphone 12 pro max on 16.7 - Besides the smashed back glass, it runs like a champ. Still has 89% battery health, probably gonna rock it for another year or 2 then get the 15 or 16

Mine still rocking for over 2 years now. I use it for social media and filming. My battery is still at 92%. The only problem I got is the screen, the right part won’t touch easily because the phone fell on the ground many times 😅

Had one back in Feb and it was still great this phone aged very well

I'm going from 12 ProMax to 15 ProMax. the 12's batter is still ok, but under descent use, it looses charge faster than it should. I want the 5X zoom. I want faster data offload. The 12 PM is still excellent, but there are reasons for me to upgrade.

Got my 12 pro max on launch and sticking too it until software support. 79% battery life but I’ll take it to Apple and get a new battery for $90. The Pro motion and USB C would be awesome but I don’t feel it’s worth the extra money so I’ll upgrade when I lose software support

I LOVE the 12 pro so much with that blue color that I ordered a 12 Pro max. It’s amazing I love it. Definitely could pull a 4 year.

The 12 Pro Max still works great for me, but I decided to upgrade to the 15 Pro Max since I've been wanting ProMotion, my battery health is on the decline, and this will be the last year I will be able to get the most value out of the phone with trade-in ($1000 value with AT&T which is the same as the 13 PM and the 14 PM, 11 Pro Max is only $850).

I also do have the AT&T next up my 12pro max is paid in full Im aware that you can pay 50% and then upgrade but I did not need the 13 & 14, You said " the last year I will be able to get the most value out of the phone with trade-in" this would be the last year 12 pro max would be able to get the $1000 value ?!

I bit the bullet and ordered a 15 pro max , I currently have a 12 pro max … only upgraded as I for the first time seen the blue titanium in person and loved it, the main reason I still have my 12 is because of the pacific blue. I will die on the hill that it’s best iPhone colour ever. Blue titanium is a close 2nd so thought I’d upgrade while my current phone is still with abit of money.

Dropped my 12 pro max off my Harley, It fell off the mount. Had a thin useless case on It that fell off the phone during the fall. Phone had a screen protector, so the screen was alright, all that showed was some decently deep scratches on the corners, but nothing too bad at all. Holds up GREAT 2 years later. Well built iPhone

The only thing that failed on my 12 pro max is the zoom camera . It can’t focus at all and I can feel it trying but I think something in the mechanism is stuck or messed up. Because it’ll focus for a second or two and then unfocus again. I tried so many things to fix incase it was software based but no luck . I do like this phone a lot and otherwise would maybe wait another year to upgrade . I pre ordered the 15 pro max this am . Because I’m a fan of titanium and usbc.

Keeping the 12 pro max. Battery still at 87% health and I have not even used 25% of the 256gb I will see what the 16 pro max has to offer Never put mine in a case which is unusual for me considering I suffer from OCD but the borders are pristine Great video and thanks 👍

As someone that had the 12 pro max and miss it, the only differences I’ve noticed are the extra zoom, I’m a heavy user so my battery needed replacing, and the 120hz display. Bad my new 15 pro max is having connectivity issues, driving in same areas my 12 pro max no issues but 15 pro max is having multiple issues staying connected to network. If you like your 12 pro max hold out!!

I’m planning on upgrading my 12 pro max to a 15 pro max. Main reason is because of battery degradation due to my heavy usage of this phone.

I have a 12 Pro Max. Earlier this year I had the battery replaced by Apple. It didn’t cost that much and really boosted the longevity. I’ve always kept in a case and used a quality screen protector. It looks like a new phone. Also you mentioned that the 12 doesn’t charge fast. That hasn’t been my experience. I use an Anker 47W charger with a USB-C to lightning cable and charging is amazingly fast. Maybe the new battery helps.

I have 65W fast charger with the same phone and new battery - I measured the charge speed, it goes max up to 12.5W, not more. The cable is supporting 35W peak...

I have the 12 pro max i love it but AT&T is offering $1000 trade credit for the 15 pro max and since my 12 pro max battery is at 73% max capacity i feel like its a justifiable upgrade.

My iPhone 12 Pro has some sound quality issues on the headset earpiece. Doesn’t sound clear anymore so while I could technically hold off I’d like to upgrade by end of this year to the iPhone 15 pro max. I know there’s issues with overheating and the titanium metal changing color and fragile but I keep my phones in cases always. Yea I think the 16 pro will be a game changer if what we hear from rumors is true. I’m a tech guy so like new toys. Typically 3 to 4 years is my upgrade time. I doubt 16 will be that much better since apple will keep the same iOS the standard body we used to lol.. in my opinion the 13-14 are currently the best iPhones you can get. Right now the 15 pro are having issues but apple is quick to update iOS to fix those.

I have the 12 Pro, it works fine and was in the Apple case all that time. The battery capacity is now 91%. Considering waiting for the 16 Pro.

My 12 max battery is at 78% but it's still a great phone. Instead of getting the basic 15 I was deciding on getting the 14 pro max but I See those have had battery issues

I’d like to see info on the 17 software. Also, I heard about a problem with one of the 12 models put off some kind of harmful radiation. I have you heard that?

I'm a luddite and probably don't use half of the features on My 12 pro max. (( for example I was today years old when I discovered the slider thingamajig on the cameras zoom)) :😀My battery is still 88% of new. My guess is I won't be looking to upgrade to till at least the 16.

I miss my gold 12 pro max currently using the 14 plus I just wish it had 3 cameras on the 14 plus

I have a 12 Pro, and it's still working just fine for me--battery still holds a charge, and the phone runs as it should. I've resisted the "model ending" iOS upgrades, after iOS 16.5. Camera aside, the faster processor doesn't warrant an upgrade for me. So maybe I'll re-evaluate when the iPhone 16 or 17 comes out.

Agreed it’s a gorgeous colour and wish it had 120hz. If that’s the main feature you care about in an upgrade though then a 13 Pro would suffice for very little more in the used market after selling the 12

Got my battery replaced. Any thoughts of upgrading have vanished for the low price of $119 Cdn. 5G, night photography, extra gig of RAM, defined corners, bigger screen is why I went 12 Pro max and sold my 11 Pro. Nothing since has been as big an upgrade from the 11 to the 12. Not since the 4s from the 3 series.

2 years into 13 pro max stiil runs like a charm with 91 percent battery health I hope my 13 pro will get update till 2028

I have the 12 Pro (not max) and bought it literally 2 months before the iPhone 13 Pro launched. Paid it off within 6 months and kept using it till I got my 14 Pro about 8 months ago. I still use it, but not as the primary driver, which goes to the iPhone 14 Pro. I'm going to keep my 12 Pro because it's the final iPhone launched in the USA using a SIM slot.

What’s up everyone! I’m upgrading from the iPhone 8 and thinking about getting an iPhone with a 6.7 Inch display. Would it be better to get a 12 pro max for $600 or a 14 plus for $650? (Btw I’m on a budget so I’m not looking for anything fancy).

Im excited to upgrade for a couple reasons, I drive often and when driving and I am on the phone with someone, my iPhone 12 pro max heats up when using GPS to the point that it says my iphone is too hot, I hope that this has thermal issue has been fixed. My battery is also at 84% and just dies too frequently, I feel so attached to the charger.

Lander sells cases that have a pad on the back part that is pressed against the back of the phone. It’s absorbs heat when the phone gets too hot and absorbs cold when the phone gets too cold. It’s keeps the phone at an optimal temp. I notice my phone battery last longer than other cases and my phone charges alittle faster as well. If the sun is hitting the front glass directly for prolonged time your phone will always overheat. Keep the screen out of direct sun light no matter the situation.

It should be great for a few more years 👍🏻

If you love its design, just keep it and wait for the next one (fold, flip, circle, etc.). I think 12 + 13 + 14 + 15 Promax share the same beauty, no need to upgrade. Chipset is fine until now to the next 3 years.

Everything I have is 60hz. My Aero 15 3060. My 5 year old 4K Tv. I use my Wifes 15 pro max. Feels the same to me.

The best possible upgrade to a 12 pro max is..wait for it....the 13 MINI, I love this phone so very much and keeping it for many many years.
